Notice the detail even from the a far meanwhile other games are you know just blurry

Hey look no blackbars

It needs black bars, right GPU? lol
and blur. oh and never post screenshots with a HUD up. NEVER.
Yea, it looks great but currently the servers are shit and I rarely ever get past 30fps. They need to fix their net code.
BTW those are some shitty screens of The Order. Surely you could find better screens than that. You're just as bad as the troll that found the shittiest screens he could find of Star Citizen.
It's impressive to see an unfinished renderer showcasing such impressive visuals. Star Citizen visuals are a bit inconsistent at this stage because the renderer is still work in progress but at its best it still defeats a lot of other games in many areas. Really shows how much effort is being put into the game's tech.

You mean those youtube screen grabs that even a idiot could tell from an actual in game screenshot because the ones I posted are direct feed of the The Order.
I still don't get why ppl bitch about the smokey fog effect in The Order.
I always saw it as an atmospheric design choice. There was a lot of steam punk type stuff and London was suppose to be a gritty and dirty place.
What specs are required to render that scene in real time at a stable frame rate though?
It currently runs like crap most of the time in multiplayer but it's not due to system specs. The framerate problems are due to the servers overloading everyone's CPUs and crappy netcode. When I'm playing single player I can easily max it and get above 60fps. The game is still in alpha so everything is unoptimized, looks great but runs like shit in multiplayer.
Why are you guys laughing at the order black bars???
You don't realize that at pc master race 21:9 aspect ratio display, even the order would have no black bar if set up correctly? And for that matter the pc master race can make any games rendered at that cinematic aspect ratio...
So in turn I'm laughing at both the console peasants and their pc wannabe race brethen who are equally clueless about the matter.
Maybe it's just me. But, those SC images is as guilty as TO1886 when it comes to liberal doses of mist/haze plus washed out colors. I want to see vivid like in Battlefront.

BF has maps in forest areas and deserts so its more diverse I don't expect cities to have such vivid colors but not to worry SC with have places with lots of vegetation and jungles.

considering there are people on here with ultrawide monitors, i'm pretty sure they're aware of the aspect ratio
@whistle_blower: there are people who have played it for hours without crashing. If you play it offline you won't have as much issue.
Cows get moaned at for posting none gameplay screens and look what the OP is dong...... And yes OP...... Static screens don't have LOD issues....
SC needs to sort it's image quality out as it's a maggie mess on most rigs.

No, gameplay SC shots obliterate any TO shot.
But is it fun? i play games not graphics btw
I really wouldn't talk about fun when talking about The Order, so SC should win by default.

Yup. Alpha 2.0 as been a blast, but they obviously need new content and mechanics. I mean, it's alpha.

it's a factory world. And space is dark. There is dying star, and CIG will have more effects for space and some planets will ahve forests, snow, seas, etc.
If this is supposed to be showing the difference between The Order and Star Citizen "cities" claiming no blur then..why is the SC city pic foggy and non gameplay?
Also there is no blur on those The Order shots so I'm not sure if you are trying to make Star Citizen look bad by saying it doesn't look much better than The Order or if you are trying to hype the Order's graphics for being underrated. Honestly I can't tell your objective by this comparison.
Why do people even use the t01886 to compare to SC?
SC is massive, open world game with it's entire gameplay built into a complex series of physics and massive structures that can view from multiple angles in zero g, all in first person.
TO1886 is a boxed in corridor with nothing happening on screen. I'd expect it to look atleast good.
And SC still looks better.
It's not rocket science. The ps4 would melt trying to run the game, yet a single 970 would run TO1886 at 60+ frames.
@SecretPolice: That's using cloud servers, and graphically it's not very impressive. But that's not a good comparison. The destruction tech is awesome anyway. Different focus in design.
@casharmy: nope the order looks very blurry especially zooming in this isn't the case for SC. And You can remove hud via console command are the screen are taking from gameplay.

I asked that question before the game released. How would TO1886 run on a 21:9 monitor? Then, there are 21:9 monitors with a vertical res of 1080 pixels. Will TO1886 render natively or will it be upscaled? So far, no one has posted images of the game running on a 21:9 display.
@AM-Gamer: yea since photomode is ok ever heard you can easily turn off hud in pc games and it has a fps go figure you don't see the character a least I can zoom in without looking all blurry in the picture
Your joking right those order screen awfully blurry when I open it up fullscreen
That honestly doesn't look that impressive to me.... And it seems like Fog is ok as long as it's in PC games. Apparently bullshots with no hud and characters models are ok if it's PC games as well.
Yea because I didn't post order screens without a HUD which still looks very blurry when you open the screens and you called a it BS yet there no post processing or AA you can even enable you can clearly see from the screen yet still looks better . Good thing pc has option to tone down awful blur.
