You cannot actually win the game, there's no end. You obviously forgot a specific quote
[It] isn’t some race to the top; it’s not like Highlander where 'There can only be one!'—it is an open-ended persistent universe sandbox that doesn’t have an end game or a specific win-state.
No, you win by paying you peeps more money on top of the money you already have.
But whatever, I'm not interested in this game.
Scam of the decade.
seriously. the game was announced in 2012 since then its getting updates and updates and beta testing, asking out money etc. yet no indicate when its going to released.
squadron 42 first part was about to be released in 2014, then 2016 then 17 and now 18 is coming to end.
the game will forever will be in pre alpha beta testing.

just now it because P2W?
really,,this is new news you say?
why do people even bother to hunt for new things to cry about Chris Roberts on?
we have looooong past the point of 'we might as well forget about the game and if it happens it happens great but until then I am doing something else' phase. I think some are terrified that the game might actually work out
LMAO PC exclusives
still better than childish spiderman game that is sony exclusive LOL.
I think PC gamers who were looking for the "next crysis" were taken advantage of. They are never going to deliver on their promise because the promise keeps on expanding. It's a sad case really.
the next Crysis is Metro exodus. pushing PC graphics to limit. having non linear sandbox level design.
@ghosts4ever: lol someone is still butthurt about Sony's exclusives.
I didn't know the last of us was childish LMAO
why do i get butthurt for childish superhero game like spiderman or movie games like last of us?
@ghosts4ever: because you like only floating gun games to make you feel reassured of your masculinity, after all, without them, you feel threatened
Doom Eternal, Metro Exodus and RAGE 2 will be much better games than spiderman and last of us 2.
they are badass and manly games.
Wow people still call last of us a movie game? Ghost, do yourself a favor and play the damn game for once.
They seriously need to get Squadron 42 out if they want to restore the faith people use to have in Star Citizen because it will at least tell them that they've actually been doing something and Squadron 42 shouldn't take as long to develop as Star Citizen. They need to release that game by 2019 or early 2020 at most otherwise even I will start losing faith in Star Citizen and Squadron 42.
There was a time when this was one of my most anticipated games and I don't even like playing games on PC but I was going to make an exception for this game. That time has passed and I now have zero hype left for this game.
LMAO PC exclusives
LOL. At least PC has lots of great Star Wars games while PS4 has none of them.
Nevermind the fact you can buy the game/a ship for less than the standard cost of a game...funny how people never mention that :P
whatever, I have had more fun with the alpha versions of the game and participating in its development than I have with most AAA games in the past years. I am looking forward to the finished product be it 2019 or 2029.
I've waited for Half-Life 3 this long, after all, I can wait for Star Citizen :D

Are you actually defending Star Citizen? There are many benefits of owning a PC for games without having to stand up for this scam. Don't do this.

no not really.
I lost interest in it in late 2016 that game will ever released.

we all know that about 100% of all developers are not good at time estimation. That releasing a game on time is highly rare.
well ages ago at the introduction of a SC event his wife said the following.
'and in pure character he is late as usual' (meaning he is likely worse then even the average developer at time estimation)
that was my hint right there to put the game on the sidelines. that was in 2014.

I wish Star Citizen did it the way Elite: Dangerous did, Elite: Dangerous has a very concise strategy on implementing their features set with a distinctive feel of how Elite is and operates while Star Citizen is just throwing resources everywhere, Squadron 42, ship design and implementation, ptu, first-person-shooting, trade, etc. all the while not getting very far for obvious reasons. This doesn't even mention that they are still adding features. I have no idea why the hell anyone in CIG thought the way they were doing it was a good idea.
As for me, personally, I've done stuff in the game that's worth the money I've spent on it. Dog-fighting 3 player controlled ships at once, winning, parking my ship outside on-ground visual range of a security port, killing 2 more people with a shotgun I bought from the store, hacking a computer while watching a couple more ships fly in, sneaking out, and finally bailing out into the open hatch of my ship was one of the most engaging things I've ever done in any sci-fi game I've played.
I understand and fully agree with some of the people's complaints about the pay model, bugs, and all of that. I think as of right now, Chris Roberts just needs to go ahead and stop adding features cause it's what's holding back getting into development process.

yeah I dont think he is a scamming. I think he is just impressed with how successful he is with raising money and assumes those same skills means he is good at project management too. But I dont think he is good at project management.
LMFAO, so THIS is PC's holy grail exclusive for this generation? Wow, what a clusterfuck of a game.
You can have it herms, Star Citizen is literally the biggest rip-off I've even seen in my time as a gamer, and it's all because PC gamers a game starved for high quality AAA exclusive games with polished graphics the likes that we console gamers see year after year.
I'll just stick with my PS4 exclusives thx lol.
FYI: This same setup would be dead in the water on consoles and be ripped to shreds.
I think PC gamers who were looking for the "next crysis" were taken advantage of. They are never going to deliver on their promise because the promise keeps on expanding. It's a sad case really.
Exactly this^
The fact is PC gamers typically get 1....count it....ONE, high quality AAA exclusive every generation.
PC gamers love to rant about their impressive amount of titles released every year, but most of them are shitty basement developed disposable soap box material that most won't even mention by name.
Star Citizen was the 1 they were proud to call out by name.
PC gamers depend on that "1" high quality AAA PC exclusive every gen that's supposed to rival or eclipse consoles best options.
6th gen PC's 1 was Half Life 2
7th gen PC's 1 was Crysis
...and this gen it was supposed to be Star Citizen but oh man, that game isn't even officially finished and the Devs are taking advantage of the fact that they know PC gamers don't really have many other avenues for big budget graphically impressive AAA exclusive PC games to choose from.
Now those PC devs have turned PC gamers desire to have that 1 high quality exclusive that beats out consoles best into a filthy cash grab.
LMAO PC exclusives

????
It has Racer Revenge. Best SW game ever.
I've heard a lot of people consider it to be inferior than the first one.
