@tgob89:
7th gen best PC exclusive was STALKER. and it was also most praised game by PC gamers.

death stranding is only interesting concept but they have shown nothing.
in contrast, third party multiplatform lineup is so much better

As is more AA and A games on PC, by a far bigger margin than that less-than-10 "AAAs" in 6 years of console domination with a playerbase of 80 million.
Alot of those AA games have far more playtime, sell more and ultimetely better products.
But because they don't have nathan drakes dirt tracks and clothing thread count, INFERIOR!
Hell cows cant even admit Fortnite is by far more successful than any of Sony's first party in both gameplay and popularity.
Yet phones can run it at the same quality ... 60 FPS limit LOL

i would not be a gamer if only exclusive matters.

and there are tons of these gems out there..tons of them

Because there are pleanty of AA/A games that are ultimetely better, I bet most of the cows on this board end up playing multiplats 90% of the time, most of the Sony exclusives are 1-time throw-aways.
@recloud PC has more AA / A exclusives, full backwards compatability, Emulation and plays the best version of 99.9% of all games.
Simple point really, a 10 hour nathan drake chick flick, or uncharted zombie edition, or uncharted open-robo dino edition isn't going to sway everyone.

they simply need permission.
If the bro-crowd told them that they should like 7 days to die, they would as long as it had a Sony or Xbox logo somewhere near.

Yea, and the playtime pecking order is
PC >>>>>> Switch >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>PS4
Switch exclusives and Sony exclusives are equally rare, but somehow the Ninty ones end up having far more legs. Bloodborne being an equal exception.
@kali-b1rd: you know what is funny? I don't feel the need to have a PC because PS4 and switch fulfill my gaming needs, you on the other hand need a PS4 and a switch to fulfill your PC gaming needs.
You should stop and think about this for a while.
?
I buy all because I can.
If I had to choose, the PS4 would be first on the chopping block.
You should stop and think about that for awhile.

You know what owning a PS4 told me? That I wasted my money buying it, the thing has been used for Uncharted collection that came with it and Horizon Zero Dawn (or Uncharted open-robo dino edition :) ), now it's collecting dust again.
Star citizen Alpha 3.2.1 has more longevity than the PS4 exclusives.

I paid $3 for a game this weekend, played all weekend and plan to play some more and it was addictively satisfying
PC gaming might be horrifically expensive but I gotta say it sure didnt feel that way this weekend.
(edit..I should learn to stay away from System Wars though)

Good for you.
@tryit: It's only expensive if you don't shop around and stick to single stores like Steam. I rarely pay more than £25 for a game, even the newest releases.
I honestly have no idea either way, typically dont pay attention to it (cost)
but paying basically $3 for Space Engineers lite (StarsOne) was pretty amazing, although to be fair I already owned it.
HA! I saw the title of this topic and the only thing going through my mind was, "What the hell is Star Citizen?"
I forgot all about this game. I actually had to google it to see what it was to jog my memory. Are people still waiting for this game to come out? Holy hell, Batman!

meanwhile most people just ignore it and wait to be notified if and when it officially releases

Amazingly some people still think it's a scam, regardless of what C.I.G. release to the backers.
The game will be 99% complete and there will still be people claiming it's a scam.

I often ask myself that, couldn't enjoy God of War without headphones because the PS4 Pro sounded like a jet engine.
Sucker for gadgets? they're not even needed as media centres anymore... my tv does it all.
Enjoyed Persona 5 ... coulda played on PC now though. Bloodborne was great. the rest were "ok games" but I could of lived without.
honestly yea, PC/Switch would of done the job this gen. sad times for the "UHD twins"
They seriously need to get Squadron 42 out if they want to restore the faith people have in Star Citizen because it will tell them that they've actually been doing something and Squadron 42 shouldn't take as long to develop as Star Citizen.
I wish Star Citizen did it the way Elite: Dangerous did, Elite: Dangerous has a very concise strategy on implementing their features set with a distinctive feel of how Elite is and operates while Star Citizen is just throwing resources everywhere, Squadron 42, ship design and implementation, ptu, first-person-shooting, trade, etc. all the while not getting very far for obvious reasons. This doesn't even mention that they are still adding features. I have no idea why the hell anyone in CIG thought the way they were doing it was a good idea.
As for me, personally, I've done stuff in the game that's worth the money I've spent on it. Dog-fighting 3 player controlled ships at once, winning, parking my ship outside on-ground visual range of a security port, killing 2 more people with a shotgun I bought from the store, hacking a computer while watching a couple more ships fly in, sneaking out, and finally bailing out into the open hatch of my ship was one of the most engaging things I've ever done in any sci-fi game I've played.
I understand and fully agree with some of the people's complaints about the pay model, bugs, and all of that. I think as of right now, Chris Roberts just needs to go ahead and stop adding features cause it's what's holding back getting into development process.
Nah. Elite is just, oh hey we added more content, its more crap you have to grind/fetch quest for. Oh wait, thats the whole game.
I wonder why console gamers are so caught up on this game? It seems like a select few are routinely upset about a platform they don’t game on. Strange behavior indeed.
You mean people talk shit about games on systems they don't like for whatever reason? On System Wars? That's totally unheard of and completely exclusive to console gamers!

That comment went right over your head or it worked. I can't decide.
I always LOL hard at PC gamers still defending this game that will never release.
The biggest scam in video game history.
And Chris Roberts found more ways to scam more money out of you guys.
And to top it off, if this game ever releases...it will be graphically inferior to PS5 games.
Hilarious!

It represents everything in gaming that single system peasants cannot access

Funny, its almost as if your dumb enough not to look at the user's posting negative shit and noticing they are mainly cows? its not a hard correlation to make.
Poor phony.
GOW making hermits butt hurt. Maybe if they stopped wasting their money on vaporware and early access trash they could save up for a ps4.
I can’t defend this game anymore. I am a huge fan of the Roberts bros and always will for giving me the best games from my childhood. I still play them as they are the most fun and immersive space combat story driven games ever. Only Tie Fighter holds a candle to it IMO. However I backed SQ42 years ago. This has become something I no longer recognize and it keeps expanding. It’s like when you have a modded game system with thousands of games and suddenly find yourself playing none or them because it’s overwhelming. They aimed too high. As much as I loved the idea of Roberts not having a publisher I now see that he needs a deadline to succeed. He met every deadline with Origin and EA and somehow pumped out amazing games. Hell Wing Commander 4 had just over a year to develop even though it used some assets from WC3 they quickly upgraded nearly everything and did it on an impossible timeline. I just want SQ42 to be simple, fun, mission based, with crewmate interactions between missions. None of this other stuff. SC seemed cool at first but now it looks like it’s going to be empty as all hell. The few areas they fleshed out have taken years to still not complete so how are they expecting to dish out hundreds of space stations and cities etc? I will always be a Roberts fan but I will never preorder a product from him. It’s not that he is a scam artist. Honestly if he was he would have just released the game as is and fired his whole team in order to take the money and run. Funding for SC is very low these days so reall guys this isn’t a scam.....it’s just a guy who aimed way too high and now is being buried in quick sand and can’t find a way out. Really sad to see this as such a respected man in the industry has now tarnished his reputation. This was my dream game....he really let me down. I’m not disappointed for the $100 I invested years ago. I’m disappointed because after all these years I now accept that I will never get that Wing Commander successor I dreamed of since high school.
Bought a ship, just waiting. No rush, plenty of other games. Only an unprecedented / most ambitious / biggest crowdfunded project ever.
Haters on the outside, looking in from their yearly cods and AAA recycled garbage.
Enjoy Transformers 37. I'll wait for something new.

Chris Roberts responds to Star Citizen 'pay-to-win' concerns after removal of in-game currency cap
"You win by having fun."
WOW the game went from asking money to donate kickstarter scam to pay to win. chris roberts hit the new low.
So don't play it, sniper.
@kali-b1rd: I find it bizarre that you believe that anyone should not be negative towards this scam...
I have a history of being negative towards it here.
That being said, if it ever gets finished great. It's by far the most ambitious game in decades, its just a shame the head man and his team are..... not the best.
It's also a shame that no other big company has picked up a similar project given the clear demand/loyalty/desire for a successful project in this area.
You want me to be bow down to Sony? have Guerilla Games/Naughty Dog make a MMO + SP High production Value Space-Sim with full space/ground combat with ships as large as maps with many moving parts trying to support 50+100 players in one area.
Ofcourse not, that would require Research and Development and actually take a risk, instead of churning out templated TPS SP games over and over and over.
