still no where on that scan is the ps3 mentioned the only system mentioned is PSP, so why did takahashi file it under playstation 3? no reason whatsoever the ps3 is not mentioned any where on the scan.

I didnt know that, but I did it because since we dont know what system this game is going to since it hasnt been announced I thought id post it. I think this game might go multiplatform though for some reason.

I think it will go to the PS3 though if made exclusive. With Square- Enix publishing the remakes for the PSP and since the PS3 has no real list of JRPGs yet. Tri Ace has also been ignoring the PS3 lately also. They haven't even announced one game for it.:roll: (have they)

The graphics look very good tho. Or at least the first picture does... for a possible next gen title and perhaps above the PSP level. However, that could be CGI or it could be a pre-rendered background...

ye im pretty sure this game will be a ps3 exclusive because tri-ace are developing a xbox360 exclusive rpg already called infinte discovery. it would make sense for them to then also give ps3 its own exclusive and since many people have played the star ocean series on the playstation it would be wise to keep the franchise on the playstation platforms.

this looks awesome, and i beleive this is a joint effort between square enix and tri-ace, and also there is a ps3 page for the game but with no other system listed.

Well Star Ocean is a major japanese franchise so I doubt it will be on 360.

What if it was PSP exclusive?

The different between SO4 and Infinite Undiscovery is that this has a fanbase, and IU is a new IP. It would be suicide to put SO4 on the 360 only

I hope this comes out for PS3, i would really like to see another nextgen jrpg other than WKS.TanKLoveR

Till The End Of Time had good GFX for a PS2 game, I'd expect the same out of this game.

scans from japanese mags are fine.

JRPG characters always seem to look the same. They need to get rid of the anime inspired mushroom haired 17 year old clone teenagers. Give us something interesting. Its always the same. JRPG's will never change this way.

I like the art-style though. Looks great. But the screen in space looks CGI. Doubt that is in-game.
