Maybe I'm not fully aware of what was added on from the 360 version but how does having all of the same stuff plus having more not make it any better?

Because raw content doesn't automaticallymake something better. If that were true, more content on a bad game (not talking about SO)could make it less of a bad game.

I bought SO4 on 360 last year played it for 2 lol and sold it for half the price after 1 day cuz I couldnt handle the terrible English voice acting any more and now I bought it on PS3 again Japanese voices addition were more than enouh to make me buy it.

After beating WKC and playing SO4 international for about 30 hours now I can confirm it again GS sux with JRPGs reviews WKC >> SO4 international if you add this to Lost odyssey 7.5 (deserved 9) and eternal sonata 8.5 (6 was too much for it) you will know that trusting GS JRPGs reviews is a crime.

I was one of the main guys that said it would probably get the same score, a plus for new stuff, and minus for late port, in the end, about the score...I'm not even that interested in the PS3 version much anymore, unless I see it on the cheap. I still have my 360 copy.

Don't worry, I'm not going around telling people what they hope for when then don't even do...I don't honestly care, I didn't make the game.;)

Anyways, check out my link as well, that poll even found the game to be "A" hype majority with about 160 voters. Sure, polls are broken, but it's a telling tale of how low most expected, even non PS3 owners.

Its a great game. I have had it since launch a few weeks ago. And the anime menus and icons are much better. Those cgi icons are ugly!!!Midnightshade29

Seems fair to me. It's not that great of an RPG. Certainly good and worth playing, but that's about it. I do like the battle system though, I'll give the game that.

Square screwed up and i bet you if Tales of vesperia comes out in US/EU and they charge full price that game is gonna sit there till it drops down. At the most the game should have been $40 AT MOST. Then square is gonna wonder why people didnt buy the port and thats because its $60 people who wanted to play it played it or read the story and no amount of content addition is gonna warrant full price. I stand by that look at ninja gaiden sigma 2 would have sold a boat load if tecmo would have released it at $40.

I didn't make anything up -- whether or not you hoped it would achieve AA is my inferrence, but you at least suspected it "might" achieve AA; otherwise, you wouldn't have added that little "Maybe 8.0" at the end of your comment. You wouldn't have said such if you didn't believe at all within it. Again, notice the "or" in my post as I inferred that you hoped, and/or suspected it could achieve AA. Simple as that.

I'm well aware of the hype, as such I linked that same exact thread within the first few posts of this very thread. I was merely showcasing that quite a few might be surprised at the 7.5 score instead of the AA hype they were leaning towards.
