So the 360 has: Enchanted Arms, Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, Lost Odyssey and now Star Ocean.

Umm, whether or not you consider these games great the fact is, it's very impressive the JRPG support the system is getting!!

Enchanted arm, Eternal Sonata, Last Remnant and SO 4 are also on the PS3. Not to mention FFXIII, FFXIII VS (maybe I heard it might be an action adventure), and White Knight Story. That leaves you with LO hyped A, Blue Dragon which did horribly, Infinite Undiscover and Cry on.

Have to say whats left exclusive is far from stellar and that will be going on its third year.

I agree that this is great for us 360 owners, but I disagree that the 1st three are AWESOME in any way. Eternal Sonota is the only one I would consider okay, but the others are hardcore dissappointments.

The only people that can announce exclusivity are the devs. Other then that its just merely rumors which is why you have Famitsu's so called translation that its exclusive and an official multiplat announcement.

Anyone, NOT IN THE KNOW, will just assume it's a 360 game, as the title suggests. A better thread title: STAR OCEAN for PS3, now coming to 360" or Star Ocean 4: PS3 and 360!

Many people get their news here (I know it's sad), and the title is misleading. Again, you are assuming we all knew it was PS3 exclusive, or even bound. However, some one else posted immediately after you, proving my point, that assumptions make a butt out of all of us.

Enchanted Arms had no hope from the get-go, we knew it was going to be mediocre and I played it with those expectations. The story is half-decent and the graphics in some areas were quite good, the music and battle system were good. Though it wasn't awesome, it did at least feature ONE memorable character (we all know who that is... :P)

Blue Dragon was very simplistic in story/narrative, but it was fun. The graphics were superb but on a whole it was very samey. Still did a good job at what it set out to though, I enjoyed it.

Eternal Sonata needs no justification, it's just awesome.

Square Enix did not want to say on which platform Star Ocean 4 will be released. Previously Famitsu revealed it would be released exclusively on Playstation 3 but Square Enix told on the Tokyo Games Show 2007 that it has not yet decided a specific platform for the game.

Though the shown trailer revealed it will most likely be Playstation 3 or Xbox 360, or maybe both.

You must remember that all of those titles were announced years ago with Last Remenant being the only exception (which was announced at last years E3) and now Star Ocean 4. There are still many more confirmed exclusive RPG's for the PS3 then the 360, and far more on the DS.

Now I am not downplaying this in anyway because it is great news, but I'm just stating this before someone quotes you and says "The 360 is THE console for JRPG's!".

Yes, I kinda agree. I was just stating the fact that most of us expected SO4 to be a PS3 exclusive because of info like the one I posted. However, even if the devs themselves claim exclusivity, you still never know...For example, Ubisoft's famous "Assassin's Creed only on PS3" claim.

I feel the exact same way about that game, but it'sfar fromtheir worst title. It took me forever and a day to even beat that game, but it was a fun experience. I'm a big fan of the franchise, so I'm happy its going multi-platform and I'll have a chance to play it. A nice surprise from SE.

Hmm.. played the first 2 and didn't like them. Very generic. I prefer the more mainstream RPG's though.
