Steam Halloween Sale!

Heya folks, it's almost Halloween, and for those of us that are too old to go Trick-or-Treating, Steam is having a big Halloween sale on all kinds of spooky games.

We got everything - we got Penumbra, we got Amnesia, we got The Walking Dead, we got Lone Survivor, Condemned: Criminal Origins, Alan Wake, Prototype 2, Killing Floor, that Sherlock Holmes game with Cthulu, we got F.E.A.R., we got Painkiller, we got Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines, we got S.T.A.L.K.E.R., we don't got Resident Evil 5 because Capcom is stupid, we got Left 4 Dead, Left 4 Dead 2, Cthulu Saves the World & Breath of Death VII, we got Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas with all the DLC included, we got Cave Story +, we got... Cave Story +? That's not spooky at all. Huh. Anyway, we got Dead Space 1 and 2, we got Bioshock, we got Dead Island, Dead Rising 2, and more!

And there's also a Team Fortress 2 update! Fight Merasmus and witness the horror of a BOOK!

If you're willing to play it at night, in the dark, with the sound up, then buy it. It's perhaps the greatest survival horror game ever made.

I had the same mindset over a year ago. I haven't bought much this year (I think around 7 games) which is greatly reduced from the previous years of buying 50 or so :P

Swore not to buy anything until I finish games on my backlog. Only a Borderlands 2 sale would make me fall for it, but it's too soon. Maybe for Christmas sale, who knows?

It's not scary but has a suspenseful atmosphere and tries for some jump scares. The firefights you'll encounter are very intense and not having health rejuvenation makes it a bit tougher than msot other FPS games (although the game is quite generour with health kits and armor). the steam copy also comes with the 2 expansions for Fear 1 called Extraction Point and Perseus Mandate. Both of them are quite enjoyable and add some new enemies and weapons into the mix.

Cave Story+ is on there? Dafuq

I might pick up FEAR. It's like $2.50 and it's a damn good game.
