Picked up TW1. Can't beat two fiddy! Also picked up Serious Sam HD 1 and 2 pack, which I was gonna wait for the possibility of a daily deal but I didn't want to wait anymore. :P

What do you guys think of the Monkey Island games? I was thinking about getting 1 & 2 special editions. It's been a long time since I've played an adventure game.

Also try the hardcore modes. It removes the HUD, which works because the game is very visual anyway.

If you can get the originals, they are apparently classics. So I would buy them. I'm really digging some old games right now, Planetscape, Fallout, Doom..

I can't afford anything :cry: I went out and spent a little too much on my B'day yesterday, and I bought The Old Republic today. Maybe i'll have a look in a few days.

The Special Editions are great. I played both for the 360, and they kept me glued. You can even switch between the old and new version (new version is actually very good).

The CPUs have 2gb of ram and a AMD dual core processor, so they should be ok. Not the most impressive machines by far, but hopefully I can play Witcher on my son's cpu! (crosses fingers)godzillavskong

With the HD 5450 you'll be fine for The Witcher 1, I don't think it'll run the second game. Also, by CPU I'm assuming you mean pc? A CPU would just be the processor.

I'm personally waiting for Bastion and SpaceChem. I tried the demo for Edge but controlling the block was highly confusing to me lol so I skipped that one.

All in all these indie games are just amazing.

I already did the Spiral Knights achievement and got some coal, a little upsetting but down the road I can craft it into a gift (maybe a free game) or wait out and see if I can win some of the Giveaways. It's a win-win situation if I ever did see it. :)

I just had a revelation...in the Summer there was an Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising achievement. Could it be possible that another achievement could come up for the winter and now I can participate in it and get the achievement now that I have the game? And what if the free game you get will have an achievement or objective down the road? Oh my god...it's a never ending cycle of prizes and free games. :shock:
