Yeah I felt cheated aswell. Especially considering I got it on PS3, where the graphics were terrible (the one redeeming part of the Pc one for me was the graphics) Atleast I got to sell it in the end. I reckon Brink 2 would be awesome, as they are so many great ideas in it, with shoddy execution.

I was about to buy Silent Hill Homecomming, but then I just remembered I didn't join the Holiday Community for the free gift yesterday on my other accounts. Just got the game as a gift for joining that group.

Heh, cool for you dude. Anyways, I actually did get it! There were some guys who were trying to get it as well and so I joined in and got the achievement. Let me tell you that that game has got to be the worst game I've ever played. My cursor wasn't working, chatting in the game is just strange and a nightmare, and it feels like a freaking Dota/LoL rip-off. Man, glad I got the achievement and my coal and I don't have to go back into that nightmare ever again. :evil:

Is there a chance of Payday getting any cheaper? Its a good price now, but I know Steam likes to change some game prices on like a day to day basis during these things.

I would wholeheartedly recommend it if you are a fan of the movies. Gameplay wise, its simple puzzles and character interaction, nothing too complex, but the chance to go through a canon BTTF story for the first time in two decades is nice. Plus there's a little cameo I don't want to spoil (but I think its obvious).

Amnesia was already a daily deal for $5 iirc. There are usually encore days during sales like this, so it's a good idea to wait and see if it pops back up. Killing Floor and Terraria haven't shown up as a daily, but they're both likely candidates to go even cheaper.

I can only personally vouch for the quality of Amnesia and Killing Floor, but Terraria is pretty good too from what I hear.

Terraria looks really interesting, but at the same time kind of boring. It looks like 2d Minecraft mixed with dig dug, and it seems you can actually win? I've watched a let's play, and the more I watch, the more boring it gets. But then again the dude was trying to beat hardcore without dying or something.

Gift Pile is a great marketing idea. Seeing as how it requires specific games to be played and it tries to make them inexpensive, it's a nice way of boosting sales. I'm not falling for it, but I'm sure a lot of people are gobbling up those $2 games to get those specific achievements for more discounts/coal/free games.
