This weekend Borderlands is 50% off.... thats right $25. What a steal.... pick up the latest DLC "General Knoxx's Secret Armory" for $10... and you have ALOT of game to play through fora mere $35...

I'm not sorry that I bought it at full price... but for some of you who have been waiting for a price drop... NOW would be the time to jump on it.

Honestly... Live & PSN should have more deals, like Steam. If Steam can afford to do it... I'm sure MS & Sony can too.

I know MS already does have weekly deals... but they are almost always on stuff thats been out for 2 years already... and the savings arent as significant as they are on STeam.

Can you play splitscreen on the PC version? I know for L4D2 there is a guide to getting it to work, what about Borderlands?

Yeah Steam has tons of great deals. Wish PSN would do more deals, through right now it is doing Spring Fever, and there probably going to be a lot of good deals in the next few weeks. Like this week Echochrome and Echoshift are 50% off.

Nah no splitscreen in the pc version of Borderlands.

I really have no idea. They happend about 6 months apart and I lost, probably about $250 in games total. There is a 14 year old in my house that used it a bitmore than I did, but he swears that he did't give out the password. So after that happend, I beat it into his head "NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR PASSWORD" and he totaly understood, then it happend again . So, I'm done with Steam

Keylogger is a nasty thing that log everything you type on your keyboard and send it to a haxxor so he can get your passwords etc

Keyloggers hiding in some warez files piratez download and install for an example. Just stay away from those sites and be protected with antivirus-programs etc :P

There is no distribution costs. Just the cost of getting a license to sell most likely.

Good point, also i use ticketless tickets at gigs using my reference code and a photo id,saves money onn postage distribution aswell which is really good.Im starting to come round to digital distribution for a few things especially as a lot of music i listen to is maybe not as easily found in say an HMV store it bridges the gap for me.

Now im getting more used to it,its becoming something i dont mind.For some reaason the only media i am sceptical about is games :S dunno why.

Steam is good, I remember getting hacked once, but I asked for a ticket even though the guy changed the email and pW. Steam support asked me for one of the key codes on one of my registered games on Steam and I got it back. :)

I don't just wish that PSN and XBL were more like Steam in terms of pricing, but with regard to digital distribution as a whole.
