Considering that you can already build a PC that is about as powerful as a PS4 for around the same price, I don't think streaming will be much of a factor. This is more for people who buy a Steambox with SteamOS to still play their Windows-exclusive games.

I was gonna say Kinect but, I do know people who legitimately bought an Xbox One for that "garbage" peripheral... But you're right; the whole "Kinect central" aspect of the console was another huge factor as well... Along with "TV, TV, TV, Sports, TV, TV, TV..."

You need really good internet to stream games with minimal latency. Unless you're living in Finland, Sweden, or Kansas City, streaming won't work very well.
