Very interesting.

Edit: He's also interested in developing for 360...ps3 not likely.

I couldn't care less how violent they made it, I read they mapped attacks to the A button. BOOO. I want swordplay with the controller. At least the finishing moves are still there.

I dont really care wich one is more violent, but I have more interest in No More Heroes then Manhunt 2, since nobody makes games like Suda.

Suda is not Nintendo, but if you only want the new Nintendo games, then noone is forcing you to buy the other games. And I dont think its not the kiddy image Nintendo is working on, its more the fact that N64 got very little attention in the media and the casuals, and the GC was even less. I dont think casuals are thinking Nintendo is that kiddy either, its more that they dont know what console and games they are puttin out. And typing this makes me sad :(

Not really. When you ask a casual about Nintendo you ussually get the typical gay or 'kiddy' response. NMH will affect Nintendos image, for better or for worse.

I am guessing he noticed that Manhunt 2 got much more attention for the gamers (wich is undeserving IMO) because Manhunt was such a incredible violent game. Now he want the same attention for his game. I am really hoping Suda focus more about making the game good, instead of making it as violent as possible.

I guess I'm just in the minority here but I happen to like the fact that most of the Wii games can be played by anyone.  I get to play the best of the best Wii games and my kids can play them also.

I literally can't play any of the best 360 or PS3 games.

I guess it depends on who you ask. If I talk about games with casuals my age (24 in Norway) then they really dont know any game that was released for Gamecube, except some people say Mario and Zelda, but thats it. I talked recently with a bartender-friend of mine who had maybe a half a year ago got a GC, because it was cheap and wanted to play WW and SSBM. But he almost didnt know about any other game it had. I have fixed this now and he has borrowed some games from me, and he may become a full time sheep in the future. He liked them alot. But this might depend on where you live ofcourse, Bergsala wich is the Scandinavian publisher of Nintendo never does any commercials or ads. Maybe once every few months I might see an ad for DS in a magazine. To really demonstrate the only ad for Wii games at Wii launch was Rayman, nothing else. And not on the major channels. :(

IGN Wii: In your opinion, are developers telling good stories in videogames?

Suda: I think videogames telling "good" stories do exist. 

Play phoenix wright! That has a fantastic story, even my mom liked it.
