I have to give it to Mario, he beats banjo by a foot or two and the apes by a few more.

Super Mario 64 and Ape Escape were more meaningful to there respected systems than Banjo was.

Ape Escape is one of the worst 3D platformers of that era.

Banjo Tooie > Mario 64 > Ape Escape. Banjo Kazooie is also really good too, and better than Mario 64 imo.

I find it sad that the 360's only good platform is a game that's from a Nintendo console.

In reality this Poll is "Super Mario 64 (N64) vs Ape Escape (PSone) vs Banjo Tooie (N64).

No matter how you vote the Nintendo 64 still wins.

How could people say SM64 looks better than Banjo-Tooie when even Banjo-Kazooie was a better looking game?

Never played banjo but SM64 is overated. Its a good game (even if I really don't like it much) but it was not so godly in comparison, to crash, spyro or ape escape. It was better but not on some other level. That is my opinion.

People love to hate on PS platformers which I find sad since a lot of them were great. Were not talking about Ratchet and Jak here, we're talking about about pure bred well done platformers. I find all this "can't touch M64 and Banjo" crap annoying. Those games can't even lick the **** off of Yoshi's Island's, Megaman 2, Sonic 2 and 3 etcboot.

Honestly I enjoyed Ape Escape a lot more over Super Mario 64 even though I do like SM64. However, I've never played Banjo Tooie.

I did play Banjo Kazooie and enjoyed it.

I mean you had to have the dualshock controller to play it.

Well, no, but it was the first game to REQUIRE Both analog sticks. :P You couldn't play it without a Dualshock, but it was well worth it. I bought it for $40 the day it first came out (back then games came out for PSOne for $40, and N64 games were $60.)

I remember it got a lot of hate because people were like, "WTF is this Two analog crap? That's unpossible to play!!!1!" :lol:

Times have changed, but it was very innovative for it's time, and very fun. The gadgets, the platforming, the charm.
