Its also silly that sheep bring up scores from other magazines when they are great, yet have been telling us for months and months that scores dont matter. Its a bit hipocritical. Just sayin.h575309

Of course. I mean it is system wars.

As for the point, theres nothing wrong with bringing up scores from different sites -- Scores are a big influence on peoples decisions, though personally I don't care for scores -- as I read the text. In general, the score is meaningless and only the written text really matters. That's the sole reason I bother with reviews, to find out more details about games that I otherwise wouldn't have known about.

Like I say, I was ready to praise the game. I just thought, nah, they're going to hear what they want to. If Mario was restricted to platformers and the odd kart sim I would not think negatively on the franchise. The platformers are always good. Not nearly always. Always.

Yeap. It's like how this gen is the first ever where graphics don't matter but when a game comes out which looks quite pleasing on the eye in spite of the consoles limitations all of a sudden they very much do matter.

The funny thing to me is, of all games that you guys would need reviews for to prove its worth, SMG2 would be the last one I can think of. In other words, you can bet your ass the game is gonna be awesome.

The Wii is kicking massive amounts of butt this year. Other than (maybe) the PC, there isn't anything out there that can touch its lineup.

I can't wait for June 11th so this game can spray awesome juice all over my face. :D:D:D

I am glad I now own a Wii. It has been quite awhile since I have played a really great platformer and even longer since I have played a Mario game. Should be quite refreshing. I'll be getting this at some point.

The sheep have spoken. Anyway, this was to be expected. It is a main sequel to the most iconic and revolutionary game character of all time...(Don't give me that Pac-Man garbage:)) Of course people are going to plaster its golden scores around. I for one could not be happier.

They play the same copy of the game so... as for the time period, I think they recieved the game monday so there was plenty of time to analyze it. At least IGN got it then, not 100% sure though
