Completly and utterly amazing! :shock:  Besides Mass Effect I think we have a second candidate for GOTY. 8) Am I right? :)

This shows the Wii can provide excellent (Although not PS3 and 360 levels mind you.) graphics if one tries and this looks like another genious project from Miyamoto.

i agree, that game does deserve to be a candidate for game of the year, but from the looks of it its gonna have some tough competition

Wow, SMG has some impresive visuals. It proves so far, 3rd party developers have been really lazy making lackluster games for wii, becasue according to this trailer the wii is capable of far more.Darth matt

Mario Galaxy wont win Goty, Its impossible, When did the last platformer win goty, And besides it cant even be included in the list because their is just too many other games that make Mario Galaxy feel pale in comparison

First you got Mass Effect, Bio Shock, Halo3, Gta4, The Darkness, Assassins Creed, Ut3, Stranglehold, Re5, Blue Dragon, Lost Oddessy, Kayne and Lynch, Army of Two, Haze, Half Life 2 with ep 2, Fable 2, Eternal Sonata, Brothers in arms, Banjoo Kazooie 3, Battlefield Bc, Forza 2, Pgr4 etc

Dmc4, Heavenly Sword, White knight story, Killzone 2, Hellgate London

Crysis, Quake Wars, Stalker, Spore .

And besides the other games that the Wii has to offer and i belive handhands are not exluded as well.

But ill take the games from above and round them out to the top 10

My faith in nintendo is renewed. That trailer has just shown me why SMG smashes every single game thats coming out for either the 360 or the ps3 to oblivion. I don't care what any1 says, graphically it looks amazing, and that blue horizon just looks beautiful.. The gameplay is ingenious, and takes platforming to a level that banjo or ratchet will never reach.

 Lemmings can cry mass effect all they want, If gamespot aren't blind, then they'll give this amazing piece of innovation the GOTY.

I wrote a whole lot that would of owned you ass but gamespot is a horrible website and redirect me and it got deleted so i can be bothered typing it again so ill simply it.

You dont make sense, "Were talking about Mario here", Yeah and so im talking about Halo3 whith it previous games scoring 9.7 and 9.4, Im talking about ut3 which is made my epic who make the ut games and Geow which scored 9.6 btw not to mention gta4 which the 3 previous games last gen scored 9.6 on each one, Spore is made my the person who made The Sims and i could go on for ever so that debunks that argument.

As i said above when is the last time a platformer got Goty, Also Mario platformers aint AAA, Mario 64 brang something new and btw got out scored by Banjo and his pal kazooie which btw the new one is coming to the 360 with the original development team and Mario sunshine ony got an 8 on Gs, So no i totally disagree what you said and infact i believe i said more than enough to justice Mario not being consider for goty condender and this giving moment, Pehaps in the future, But not right now.
