Super Mario Galaxy --- Wii sheep curse Gamespot if it gets 8.5?

If the reviewer gives valid reasons that clearly show that the game didn't deserve a higher score, then I won't complain. However, if it's Metroid Prime 3 all over again then you better believe I will complain.

However, out of all of the upcoming games on the Wii, I see this one standing more of a chance at reaching AAA status than the others. We'll see.

tomarlyn: That's still not the point. Nintendo supporters want to know why MP3 gets docked for being too similar and too different, while Halo 3 gets praised for both.

In the end, I think Halo 3 is probably a better deal and probably deserves a better score(more of a whole FPS package than MP3). But this is all about contradictions.

You guys critizise Gamespot too much. They are trying to be DIFFERENT. Sure it's hurting their credibility a lot, but c'mon, we should respect them for that.

Them deducting points for nearly non existent issues and constantly contradicting themselves with every paragraph sounds pretty unprofessional to me.

Let's just use other sites for reviews, but still use Gamespot forums to discuss them. No big deal.

On the Spot however is pretty good.

Even with the new review system (which I hate), GS is still better than just about every other site.

Some of you guys say that Bioshock was robbed of a 9.5 for minor problems, but are things like a lack of enemy variety really minor? I loved the game, but you only fight Big Daddies anda few variations of Splicers for the entire game. The fighting gets extremely repetitive because of this, and for this alone it should not have gotten a 9.5.

And now to MP3, which you sheep are still in an outgrage over. You criticize GS for calling it more of a same, but is it really anything more than that? Other than Wii controls, it makes basically no major additions to the series.

I respect GS for actually stating these issues in their reviews, rather than leaving them out completely like most other major review sites.

Everybody seems to love it. As with most Wii games the graphics and control are the big question marks.

I mean, seriously, he flopped Zelda, but even some sheep started to agree with him. He hasn't had any notable flops recently (he passed Bioshock, Halo 3 and Warhawk, after all). People may call him biased against the Wii, but I have the feeling that he could be easily impressed by this game.

It's compeletly impossible for this game to get less 9.0

I'm even going to say that is mor likely for this game to get a 9.5 than to get less than that.

If they give it an 8.5...they better have a good reason to back it up.I under stand the TP flop because it felt a little too similar to OOT *despite that fact that it was still a great game*.....but the MP3 review had contradictions all over the place.

Honestly....if this game doesn't get AAA I really don't think any wii game will ever get AAA on GS again..

I haven't played MP3: Corruption, but didn't saw any contraditions on the review... (maybe it's just me)

And have any of you read the last "hands-on" with SMG?

Because if SMG got less than 9.0 it would be a contradition with what they said in there... (but maybe it's just me again)

1) Super Mario Galaxy now has a launch center. Just look up Super Mario Galaxy in the game search and bam!

2) If you haven't seen the new preview, GS is very positive. They were "amazed"at the gameplay variety and visuals. Yes:"Amazed."

I would be disapointed if mario galaxy was actually only worth an 8, simply because it wouldnt' be as great as i would like it to be.. not becasue gamespot gave it a score less then 9.

However, i will be disapointed in gamespot if they write a terrible review for it.. like the metroid prime 3 review. If Mario Galaxy is not an 8 worthy title, and they give it that without proper justification and a butt load of contradictions i don't see why anyone would be happy.. really, why would you want inacurate reviews?
