I like console most atm, it got tons of games i want and pc only got Starcraft2, Crysis that i am interrested in. So easy with consoles just plug in the disc and play.
PC is way to much work to keep up to date and a money pit.
Back in the day... My 586 lasted me 5 years with a RAM upgrade and 2 video card upgrades. Nothing like running a 400-500 MHz game on a 200 MHz Pentium with MMX and 128 MB of EDO RAM.
Built me a high end rig in 2001 didn't even last me 2 years and I needed a video upgrade. Then on top of that 3 and half years later it was worthless to run games on and still look good. I had 1.5 GB's of SDRAM in that bad boy too. In the Counter Strike survey I ranked in the top 1% with my PC.
PC's life these days just keep getting shorter. Not worth the money and time.
PC easily. Next-gen consoles don't have anything I'm interested in aside from maybe LittleBigPlanet, while at the same time there's about 30 upcoming pcgames I want, so the choice is obvious for me

Well everyone who can post must own a PC, giving it a leverage. Actually everyone in North America should own a PC anyways.
It's relatively hard for casuals to enter the PC *games* market, although casual games like the Sims and Dinner Dash were both commercial successes. You are correct, the potential is there, however if PC gaming went mainstream, it would lose its appeal to me.

I bought my 7800GT in 2005 and it stil runs all games on high settings......
 Learn HOW to upgrade, WHEN to upgrade, and WHAT to upgrade with. If you buy a crappy video card now, of course it won't run games 2 years down the line. If you buy a $250 8800GTS, it will be amazing for a long time.

I have a PC its pretty up to date, the GFX card if a 6800 and could use a cheap upgrade to a 7950. I also have a Wii with Wii sports, Wario Ware Zelda twilight princess, and Super paper mario.

PC, I have a 360 and it is my primary games machine but on the PC theres so much choice, download free games, mods, maps and I always like to try out MMO trials too. So many games and a huge variety. I have never upgraded my PC so nowadays its become outdated, I think Stalker is the last game it will handle with a decent framerate. (For some reason the patch has made it unplayable and the Framerate has dopped massively on my machine.)

I'm a PC person. i have a few consoles and i enjoy them, but in a casual way. much more passionate about my PC (modding, OC etc). and i reallyÂ
PC's are better because you already HAVE a computer, while a console is an unnecessary part of your life. And tech person'll buy a computer with half-decent parts, so you can at least play most games at varying levels of quality.
I haven't touched a PC game in years, nothing on PC appeals to me. And I really don't wanna get stuck in front of a computer monitor for countless hours playing stupid MMO's or over-rated FPS's.
If you can afford a decent setup, PC gaming is and will always be superior to console gaming. Keep in min we aren't talking about comfort while playing, which is a frequently used argument for consoles. If you're talking games alone, PC gaming is superior. There's usually a lag period of about a year after a new generation of consoles drop that the PC is seen as lagging behind. Eventually however, PC games always catch up to and pass console games. The other day I decided to play some Half Life 2 on my LCD HDTV just to see how it stacks up. My computer isn't the best, but its capable of running HL2 with everything on high with the resolution at 1366x768, and it still looks better than anything out on a console right now. That game is a few years old, so that's saying something.
Both, I'm not going to sit here saying reasons why PC gaming is necessarilly superior or why console gaming is inferior. There are still tons of great games to be had on the consoles. Most of my favorite franchises of all time are on consoles. PC gaming provides a money efficient way to play games for me. I've spent far more on consoles over the span of a generation than PC gaming. I can get far more AAA,AA and A titles from the PC. The series like Suikoden, Silent Hill, and many others keep me playing consoles though.
I much prefer the PC's graphics, controls and online features but because it is so hard to keep up with the technology I spend more time on my PS3 and Wii.
Console for library building - I'm extremely prone to losing CD-keys, and I'm just generally bad at maintaining PC games, I only keep perhaps half a dozen games on my PC at a time. For example, right now I have Halo, Oblivion, Starcraft, Fear multiplayer, Sega Swirl, and Grid Wars.
There just aren't enough PC games out there I want in the genres I like, when I get an Xbox 360 I probably won't be getting a new PC game for a long time. I enjoy PCs for the hardware aspect, but just too many of my favorite games aren't on there. Â
PC, no need to put the disk in every time to play, you can do more with it, faster loading time, cheaper games, and you can customize how you wantimprezawrx500
My favorite part is OVERCLOCKING! I like to push my system to the brink of extinction, and run a bunch of benchies on it see how far I got it. I will be getting my water cooling soon. But I play my 360 more since I'm waiting for Crysis. S.T.A.L.K.E.R was really good, I got fed up with BF2142. 2142 was no where near BF2. I mostly play Rainbow Six: Vegas on 360 all the time, playing clan matches with a bunch buddies. It's really a toss up for me, since PC, and consoles always have really good games.

The only real genre we lack are...uhh...I guess JRPGs.
I am a console gamer but I prefer PC gaming. Why would a console gamer prefer PC gaming? Easy, it has more quality games. Its time to get a new computer though. So as of late of been on the console scene. Console gamer or PC gamer man it doesn't matter to me as I'm just a gamer. And as a gamer I know the PC has the most quality games and that's a fact that can't be argued against.
