Also, Yakuza 3 was pretty awesome.
Shame I waited so long to check out this franchise.

If the game looks exactly the same in TGS as it did in E3 2009, I'll LOL.

If they're going to show us footage at TGS, at least show us why it took so long to make the game. I'd really like to see it.

Gameplay will be a mix of ico and shadow according to wiki. Graphics, i heard they were already maxing out the PS3, TLOU sacreficed graphics for gameplay and more open areas you know, not a corridor shooter and a movie. Its taking so long because.... the games is being rebuilt cause the PS3 can't handle it. And parkur lol, that creature thing looks better than anything in uncharted and i heard each feather moves on its own with the wind and all, uncharted. i take gameplay and art design over graphics you should know since you love journey's visuals. lol they are remaking the game cause the ps3 cant handle it? sounds like a pretty horrible developer to me that they couldn't figure out the limits of the system within the 5 years its been in dev.does any one want a free psn ps1 import game? I dont want it.
its name is Yakiniku Bugyou and it seems to be a barbe que japan simulator...

EDIT: based on XV's post i can already tell he expects so much, and it will flop brcause of that and we have team ico to blame and sony.
It's been 6 years man. 6 long years. You're telling me that after 3 years of development, which is how long it took to make Assassin's Creed III (which is much more impressive than anything we've seen from TLG), we're not going to tell a difference? There better be a difference from what we saw in 2009 and what we're going to see in 2012/2013.
And the game being rebuilt doesn't make sense. They've been building the game up on the PS3 this whole time, if it couldn't handle it the developers would've realized it by now. If the devs really said that, then that's the works excuse I've ever heard. The Last of Us didn't sacrifice anything, not only does it look better than Uncharted 3 (and have substantially less jaggies), it also PLAYS better. Naughty Dog shows results, after 3 years of development you can be sure that Naughty Dog will make progress and it will show. That's why I like Naughty Dog so much.
If TLG comes out as a 7/10 incomplete game, then honestly I'll have lost all respect for Team ICO.

Guys, they're constantly testing the game out! How in gods name can it not run on PS3? It's like they develop the game for 5 years straight without testing, then decide to give it a go and realize it doesn't run on PS3. If it doesn't run on PS3 then what will it run on? That's the only platform they're developing for. Team ICO needs to get their act together and start delivering because by now the game should be really long and really really good.
offering it once more before I offer at CAG.

The only impressive thing about AC3 is the new animations and climbing trees, the combat is a QTE and the draw distance is worse, they made sacrefices you know, also look at the shadows in AC3 lol. The game is being rebuilt is because its impossible to make ueda vision to come true on this hardware, yoshida said it himself, "ueda vision is causing trouble for the devs" And that is why they brought santa claus to help them with it, the game has its own physiscs engine and the creature making it realistic as possible is tough, i have been reading about it and its not easy, its a nightmare to make an AI like this you need programming gods lol, there is even a problem where the creature is stuck in the enviroment.
The dev just always goes for the impossible when they make games but they are able to find better solutions later and they obviously don't have much experience like Naughty Dog, and not to mention building an engine for the game.
The Last Of Us looks worse than uncharted 3, no way you can make a game with opened levels like this and not sacrefice graphics, look at the ground in TLOU LMAO also some of the walls and screenshots prove that it looks worse, only thing that have been improved is the AI and character models, sure they added little touches like the blood coming from joels nose and all but it looks worse than uncharted 3, and i'd take that over uncharted.
You haven't even played ico and shadow, don't see how someone loses respect for devs he hasn't evevn played their games but alright.
Assassin's Creed III is extremely impressive! The graphcis look great, they have full scale levels, and they pretty much revamped AC II. The environments are also huge, this is going to be one of the biggest AC games even rivaling AC I. And this is purely Team ICO's fault, 6 years is a crazy long time to develop a game like this, and only a portion of their dev staff works on ruling out those bugs, there are artists that focus on the look of the game that have also been working alongside the AI team. After 3 long years, there has to be some sort of difference. Don't tell me they've been fixing bugs for the past 3 years. That's just crazy.
Also:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbLOokeC3VU. Tell me how that looks way worse than:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9iE10yjbJA. Honestly, The Last of Us looks much better with the open world environments, the lighting, not to mention the lack of jaggies already outlined by Digital Foundry, and Naughty Dog still has many months left to make the game even better. The Last of Us looks leagues better than Uncharted 3 in terms of gameplay and animations and AI, and it looks a little better in term of graphics. Especially if you compare the cutscenes. And the nice touch they've added with motion blur makes the game look even better in motion.
I don't need to play ICO and SOTC to know that Team ICO is a good developer, that's why I expect good results after 6 years of development. Because if this turns out like GT5, then they'll look even worse than Polyphony did when GT5 released.

Could be the development started really slow? they were still testing even after the announcement LOL. probaply. The game will be short like ICO you can quote me on it, ueda is too ambitious he even said "i don't i'll ever be satesfied with consle hardware". Last Guardian will fail so better give up on it.So if it's really short, then again the game should be nothing short of fantastic since they can focus on the experience and not length. If Team ICO is as good as people say they are, then whatever is going to be shown on TGS better show 6 years worth of development.

Who knows? they are probaply just sitting around playing cards and playing ico and shadow waiting for sony to cancel the game so thet it doesn't hurt their rep LOL.
I said myself that they failed this gen.
TLOU looks cleaner and more polished than uncharted and feels alive because of the new animations and AI that brought it to life, but has worse textures, leagues better? nope it looks worse, look at the screens xv some of the textures are awuful, even ND said with UC3 we hit the limit, but it does have better lighting and better shadows than uncharted like DF mentioned.
You need to play the game to respect the dev and have an opinion about them, you shouldn't expect anything after 6 years cause Last Guardian will be a big fail.
GT5 did fine actually, the sales speak for it and that is all what sony cared about and many people still like it and the meta score is in the 80 which is enough.
Not sure about the textures, it's hard to say from youtube footage, but from past screenshots I can agree that there are some bad textures. I still prefer how TLOU looks in motion over Uncharted 3. Especially the jaggies, Uncharted 3 was literally a breeding ground for jagged edges lol.
And yeah GT5 didn't turn out bad, but Forza was a much higher quality game that was in development for only 2 years, and Polyphony couldn't even compete with that with 5 years of development for GT5.
Really the only reason GT5 was still green light by Sony was because they released GT5 Prologue which made back whatever money they spent on the development of the game (which was A LOT). So by the time GT5 released, all that extra money was just icing on the cake.

They lost whatever made them so good last gen, like most japan devs this gen, look at Final Fantasty and Silent hill and more. They could prove me wrong if they release it but i still have doubts, i want to be impressed and that is what sony and team ico had to do when they show up at TGS, they have no excuse this time, no technical stuff no sh**, its time to reveal what they have done since 2010. Game will either be huge success or a huge flop, and of course i want it to be good.Yep, I agree. It's always sad to see really good developers leave a dev company. I was really sad when I heard that Rocksteady lost a few really important people and the voice for joker. Let's hope the next Batman game can still be just as good without them.

What? sad news indeed :(, and a new batman? :o
Yeah they're making a new batman game that takes place long before the events of Arkham Asylum. Apparently it could set up events leading up to a Justice League game (which would obviously have something to do with the movie).
