Yes. I know it was short, but it kind of died at the end :P I dominated everyone at UT2k4, and some of them are pros at that game :P Obviously my skills at soldier, and scout in TF2 paid off since UT2k4 honestly feels very similar. Scatter gun feels like the flak cannon, the rocket launcher obviously feels like the rocket launcher, sniping = shock rifle/lightning gun, etc etc etc. That said I think I'm the new queen of the LAN parties from now on! :o

We used to have LAN parties all the time in high school since they were so easy to get going, but now with college everyone has conflicting schedules. They really need to happen during a summer break, or holiday, not just a randomly chosen weekend :P And to make it more successful next time I think a game of Civilization, or Sins of a Solar Empire are in order. Those games take about a year to complete each, so the length keeps the LAN party successful for more than a few hours like UT2k4 and Halo did :)

I love to play TF2 :) My friends dislike it, but it makes me laugh a lot, and laughing is one of my most favorite things to do.

I enjoy Quake too. The whole time we played UT2k4 I actually wished the game felt as fluid as Quake 3 :P I just love how the guns work in that game more, and how much faster paced it is.

I'll admit this LAN didn't quite have the luster of the old ones in high school. I mean since then we've all pretty much stuck to playing with each other over Skype, or Steam. It's really nice when you can browse the internet privately, or do certain activities within your own home while still keeping in touch with everyone over Skype :)

Our old LAN parties were amazing. Hundreds of hours were played in Super Smash Bros Melee, and Step Mania. There were constant mod demonstrations for Halo and Unreal, and massive games in Empire Earth among other strategy games. We'd even all decide to take over the tennis courts nearby, and play that for hours. The parties weren't just focused on the one activity, and I think that's what made them special. Everyone was just hanging out because we were a great group of friends. I was always told my high school years would be the best, and I agree everytime I look back on them :)

Used to LAN alot after school. CS+LAN was kinda a craze over here and I did prefer Quake 3 Arena and even found the unbalanced Half-Life Deathmatch good for laughs.And then there was this DBZ half-life mod that we used to play, I forgot it's name. Also played alot of the original Team Fortress and Medal of Honor.

Fun fact, when I was playing the CS beta the M4A1/Colt had an assault scope that got nerf'd and if you crouched underwater you were invincible:O
