People are offended by anything. The only reason someone might not get offended by something is because he is dumbass enough for not knowing what it means.

Stevo posted the details a few pages back, but it's basically as it sounds: you make a prediction related to System Wars and get bragging rights/shame on your entire family depending on the outcome. You also sign up for a faction, to which you contribute any successes you make on your own.

So for example, say you sign up for the Hermits and post "Diablo 3 will get AAAA!". If you win, you get points for your faction and rep for yourself.

But the review comes out, and you see Tom McShea gave it a 7.0. Clearly, you did not win. At that point, you'd have to do whatever the terms were for losing - anything from leaving GS for a period of time, changing your avatar to homosexual fanart of anime characters kissing, or displaying your failure in your sig. Basically anything you can do in GS is a-okay, but absolutely nothing of monetary value is allowed.

That's the gist of it I think.

Ah I see. I thought they were actually bets with money where people would bet eachother what a certain game would score. If that were the case I would never bet with that McShea guy around here. Way too unpredictable

Stevo I'm in agreement with you that my old Topgear sig was better and avatar. Could you if it's not much trouble use the pic I did have in my sig and work your magic on it? You can use my name in the sig and give it a good makeover.

Would appreciate it since I lack the skill to make anything interesting.
