Do you fear it will have an effect on traffic? Was it simply a matter of too much to moderate?
I have to say, I liked things better when people couldn't blantly insult you, and I appreciated that Gamespot was one of the few sites where that was taken care of shortly after it happened, unlike forums on other major sites.

it was to make the site more about what the users want and not so much about what the higher ups had in mind. a compromise would have been better.
yeah but if it doesn't work out they will just change it btw why is it whenever I see you your mod badge is always gone?
