Do any of the mods actually know the rules on this board? You are only allowed 4 quotes in a chain. Please enforce and follow your own rules.
I do like to blame myself for everything that goes wrong. Ever. In the world. Ever.
It's an empowering feeling ^__^

In what thread are you seeing these massive quote chains.
Seriously super? In every damn thread with more than 1-2 pages that happens. It's basically a non-rule at this point.
Do you guys want to report the posts?
@super600:
If that helps, Ill do it. But, It only takes some short looking on the board to see it.
If you moderate it, people will stop doing it. Is no one else sick of the lengthy scrolling you gotta do now to get through a page?
And, just forget about it if SolidTy or lostrib are in the thread.
Not really no, as I personally find it's a silly rule. I'd get something like some sort of warning for chains with 9-10-more posts. Just 4 posts is way too easy to happen. For example I've just quoted 4 posts in this answer.
It's one of those things that should warrant a simple warning and only mod action when it starts to break a thread (example: every post in a thread being a huge quote chain).
I can just tell users to trim their quote chains for now if I notice massive quote chains or delete the posts.
@wolverine4262: Well personally, I do take care to remove quotes from longer quote chains. Sometimes I forget. Sometimes it slips through. Just flag posts you see with longer quote chains, so they can be taken care of.
I just want to remind you, we're all only human. We're doing this as volunteers. Like, we make mistakes. Stuff slips through the cracks, none of us ever actually claims to be a paragon for moderation perfection. The best thing you can do if you see something that you think we've missed is to flag it, and we'll look into it.
@charizard1605:
Yeah, im gonna start flagging, but it would be nice if mods were proactive about it.
@Desmonic:
If its small, I dont care. Then again, I hate being a part of a quote chain where Im not in the discussion.
The stuff that really bugs me are the one line responses to large chains. OR, when users make obnoxiously large posts and retain them in the chain. (SolidTy)
@kitty: I like the kb, I actually wish it came in green instead of blue. As for the mouse it squeaks a lot now with the mouse wheel...so I downgraded back to my crappy $9 logitech mouse.
Same, though I'd take red instead. :P Would be nice if you could change the colors like some other keyboards offer. My wheel does the same. :( I would use my old mouse, but I gave it to my mom when I set up a computer for her to use.
Good thing I like Blue.
Shame about that mouse though, hope it doesn't do that to me

I hope it doesn't, it's annoying. I think they may use a cheap oil on the wheel and that's whats causing it. I might try to get a better kind and see what happens.
It took awhile before it happened. But you might be lucky. Despite that, I like my purchase and I don't think you could get a better one at that price range.
Zangurak is an awesome Ganondorf.
Heck he can be beaten with Silly weapons like Ganondorf. PrankBananas are his mortal enemy!

My entire setup is all blue lol. Power Supply is a bright-ass blue LED (can be switched to red or yellow I think), one case fan has blue LED, case LEDs are blue, mouse has blue (can also be switched, green and red), keyboard has blue LED and my LG monitor has a white light on the bottom that effectively looks blue because everything else is blue, and even my Wacom Tablet has white lights which have the same effect.
And I didn't even look for blue stuff; it just happens to be a popular color among manufacturers. :P

I want a LED in my powersupply :( Seems that you got lucky then :P
Maybe I was unlucky on what I choose to get. After buying my motherboard and ram, I decided to go with black and red.
I'm expecting 4 of these to arrive tomorrow http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181054 then all that's left is to decide on the interior of my case, since I kinda got screwed over on that, it's supposed to be black http://i60.tinypic.com/2qtcmx5.jpg
My new build is going to have a Rampage Black.
Nice choice. I'm happy with my current, I can do tri fire with mine, but I'd need a bigger tower/case :P
I'm going SLI GTX880's and 2011.
Wow, that will be quite the rig. I hope you will be upping the resolution as well? if not, that's overkill.
I can seem to decide on if I want 290s or 780s atm. I should be able to handle 780s with my psu, dunno about 290s.

3x 1440p monitors :D What PSU do you have?
triple screens at 1440p? that will be quite the experience.
i thought about 1440p/2160p. i'm glad i went for 144 fps at 1080p, but that's a personal thing.
When these new cards come along i'm very likely to just buy one powerful one. I'd like triple the performance of my 7850 as a minimum.

Holy crap.
You really think you'll be able to push that with sli 880's?

Jeez, I'm jealous now. :P I've got a rosewill hive 750watt 80plus (it's actually 87% which means I have 680 watts to use)
Thats not how PSU's work.... Also you have to look at how much wattage is supplied on each line. I suggest you invest in a new PSU as soon as you can.

The 780Ti can do most games at that res. Well, in SLI it can.

I did think about going 3x 4K monitors but I heard that Windows has issues with DPI at that res.
To someone I don't even know the address of? How would I send the goons round to break your legs if you don't pay if I don't know your address?

Nah.
I remember when 720p (and obviously on only 1 screen) was impressive.
It still is for porn.
@clyde46:
I saw 4K stuff pop up recently. A bit excessive if you ask me. Some things arent meant for 2160p.

This is new, it's not even three weeks old

So what does this mean "Efficiency up to 87%" then?
