@shadowchronicle: See, I didn't know that. I don't follow indie games all that closely either. All I knew was, it's an indie game, gets hyped to high heavens, *yawn.* Really, I'm glad @Blabadon basically forced me into playing this.

I'll be getting it pretty soon. You should try getting Mark of the Ninja later if you haven't already. It's a stealth game but you can choose to fight your way through it or not kill anyone.

Y'know, I'd be as excited as Shahid for indies if 80% of them were marketed as more than retro puzzle-platformers or rogue-likes. Case in point, until I watched Nintendo and Yacht Club attempt to speedrun the first four levels of Shovel Knight, I thought it was an absolute piece of shit. I mean, come on, the way half the games out there look and read, I'd swear they use an essay game idea and marketing generator in an effort to hide creative bankruptcy.

Having just read about this, I have to ask: What the hell was the guy thinking, standing on the race track? Easily the worst place you can be. As for whether there was any malice on Stewart's part, I don't know. I'd like to leave that to the experts who know more about it than me and have the stomach to watch the same vid of the moments leading up to the incident several times. Hoping it is judged an accident though, if only because that makes things less depressing.

Started playing KZ2 and Advance Wars.

KZ2: Played through the first level and I enjoyed it for the most part. Love the gunplay and enemy A.I. Hate the art direction and lol at the story and characters.

Advance Wars: Still going through training. Great game so far but hope it picks up later.

They never realized how good games like BF4 looks on the PC maxed out in DX 11. They didn't even realize that you could hook it up to the big screen and even use XBox 360 controller on the PC. Had someone come over today to use Xbox 360 controller to play PC BF4 maxed out and he was saying the graphics in BF4 looks so much better than BF4 in X360. He even played PC multiplayer BF4 using Xbox 360 and I was surprised that he was able to get some kills. Even games like MK Komplete Edition look so much better on the PC at 1080P. I am glad I got a Logitech Wireless Keyboard and mouse and PC X360 controller. Finding my self more and more using the big screen to play games in FULL HD 1080P. It's so nice and big and the graphics are crystal clear. Playing on the big screen really shows the graphical fidelity of games playing at 1080P over the consoles. PC FTW!

On a side note. Playing through Hitman Blood Money. Very under-rated game from 2006. Can't believe I didn't get into the Hitman series sooner, only got interested after the movie came out. Really like this mix of silent/action type of going about things in Blood Money.

Gave up on Grid 2 since I'm just bored of it now. Decided to start Crash Bandicoot this morning for the first in five or six years. In about three hours, I had 85% done and had beaten Cortex. That didn't take long at all.

Well, considering you liked Torchlight, maybe. I personally hate those kinds of top down action RPGs now. I played like 20 hours of PoE with 2 (irl) friends, once we stopped I never touched it again. It's just so repetitive and mindless, and the creepy Diablo 2 feel really doesn't help.

Well, I'm not that far into the game yet (just after Djose) so don't answer either way, but I think that Zanarkand, or the Zanarkand that Tidus comes from in the game, is not actually in the past as the game has so far appeared to imply, but rather in the future. That would explain so many inconsistencies and contradictions that I have picked up on so far.

And sure, I'm gonna ask around and see if others are game, and then I'll message you on Steam :p

@charizard1605: It's alright, pretty fun for a card game. Also FFX had so much potential, awesome gameplay but I despised Tidus and the whole ending was a wtf moment.
