What's the advantage of overclocking an already apt cpu? Like in my case my cpu never goes past 50 at max load, so Icould easily overclock it I think... But I see no reason yet cause my gpu is not even close to making a bottlenecking situation.
You can get more fps out of it. I don't think my current cpu would bottleneck these cards :P but my other one did.
But I got all around improvements when I switched to this cpu.
I need ram for my other computer (old) and I'll show you the differences once I get it.
Really? Hmm I guess I'll research a bit then.

PSN anime sales starts tomorrow
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/08/11/anime-sale-starts-tomorrow-discounted-games-movies-shows/
Only remotely interested in DMC from that list. I can dig the sale though.
Just sorry for the poor bastards that will get lured into P3 Fes for $2.50
So the final boss from Hyrule Warriors leaked. Kinda of an expected boss (Ganondorf + Beast Ganondorf) but whatever. Watch at your own risk of course(the boss fight is in the final minutes).
Game plays literally like a Dynasty Warriors with a LoZ skin on top. Much like those One Piece games that play in the same style. Also, the UI seems a bit too cluttered, but maybe you can tweak that on the settings or something.
Meh/10.
Lot of my friends are excited for it. I'm just disgusted that nintendo keeps pimping out the zelda name to shitty franchises & developers. (see sonic lost world zelda DLC and this hyrule warriors shit)
Shit, Robin Williams died.
Feeling pretty shitty about that.
Just read about that....the feels bro.
They're saying the cause of death was Asphyxia which sounds to me like it was either a hanging or he suffocated himself.
**** this planet. This is too cruel.
The world just became a little darker of a place without Robin Williams.
I was going to say the world diminished in laughter :(
@parkurtommo:
-.-
I asked cause I heard of people getting 40 and a little less with a full workload, was gonna have to slap Kitty if it was a full workload.
Celebrate the movies that represent his eternal mark on humanity. Don't be sad about his death because he's not actually dead, to us.
At least that's my philosophy with death.
@Desmonic: oh shit I'd forgotten about flubber
Also, I feel old all of a sudden >.>
Dude, I watched Mork & Mindy when it was a new show :P
@Desmonic: oh shit I'd forgotten about flubber
Dude Flubber was the shit when I was a kid! It was right around the time when I was starting school.
I got a bit lucky with that actually. I still got to enjoy DB as kid with a fairly decent amount of popularity (in fact it still runs on TV here, nonstop though not nearly as popular of course), Pokemon was becoming huge with it's anime + the Tazos (so many recesses spent playing with those!), Digimon was also starting too, a bunch of fun movies like Flubber and Space Jam, I had a DreamCast... man, I got to enjoy a bunch of cool stuff when I was kid!
Robin Williams and his movies were also a part of that! :)

Also, I feel old all of a sudden >.>
Oh yeah, I remember all that. Back when we still had decent saturday morning cartoons on television.
"Also, I feel old all of a sudden >.>"
Yeah, that happens to me all the time since I work around undergrads who were born well into the 90's. Young whippersnappers!
So terrible to hear about Robin Williams - especially for a 60+ year old to apparently commit suicide. I really hope this doesn't turn into something like what happened to Philip Seymour Hoffman, I thought Robin Williams was clean.
But we can remember the man he was

Here's a copy/paste :P
I gave crysis 3 a run
5760 x 1080
High settings, with no AA, AF x8, motion blur disabled
I was seeing around 24 - 28 fps with one card.
Sad part is I was seeing those numbers with ultra settings, no AA when I was using my phenom II x4 965 and one card and one monitor.
@lostrib: Does '93 count as well "into the 90's"? XD
you darn kids with your loud music and your tight pants! Get off my lawn!
Actually, I'm usually only a few years older than them. I have a late birthday so in school I was always the one of the youngest in my class, so it feels weird when I realize I am older than some of the people I work around
Damn, this is getting me really down.
Guys, this is why depression sucks. It's a silent killer. I obviously don't know how much direct or indirect experience any of you have with depression, and I won't presume to know, but if you know anyone who's been struggling for it, please, just look after them, just talk to them. Sometimes it can make a world of a difference. It means a lot to a person when they are depressed just to know someone cares enough to talk to them.
I wish Robin Williams had not done what he did. I wish he had seen one of his own movies, movies that made me happy so many times when I was down and sad myself. It's unfair and cruel that the man who brought so much happiness and smiles to so many people was sad enough to end his own life.
@lostrib: Sorry bro, you shouldn't be so damn old >.> lol
Dude, realizing the stuff you like is getting old or that you yourself are getting old (by comparison with something/someone) is always weird. Heck National Geographic just did/is doing a report on the 90's already! :O To me the 90's still feel but a couple of years ago :P
Yeah it took me a while to realize just how long it's been since the early 2000s. Like some things I remember growing up, and when I actually sit and think about it, it's like damn that was over a decade ago. And jeez, looking back on the change in technology is ridiculous.

Probably a symptom of millennials (like you and me), we were born right at the turn of a millenia so we're constantly reminded that we can relate to things that happened 15+ years ago, and yet it feels like it was 1000 years ago (because of the added "2") :P
I think that change in number really dramatizes the value of the date.
@Desmonic: Yes, depression never goes away. It's like... like malaria. Once it happens, it will happen again, and you're most vulnerable to it when you are saddest. Depression is also the worst thing in the world- it makes you feel sad, lifeless, lethargic, worthless, it weighs you down, and it also wrecks your daily functioning, disrupting your sleep cycle, your eating, your attention span. When you are depressed, nothing seems right, and you grow to hate yourself. It's the worst thing in the world, it is something I would not wish on anybody. It can't be treated, it can only be dealt with on a case by case, person to person basis. Every person is different, and their response to depression is also different.
Yes, the worst thing right now is how depression, which is such a dangerous condition, is simply stigmatized- if it wasn't, people would speak out about it, and maybe they would get help, and feel better, but that doesn't happen, because saying 'I suffer from a mental disease' still has so many negative connotations.
My heart goes out to Mr. Williams. I wish he had not felt so sad and hopelessly depressed so as to take his own life.
