Yeah, apparently, this game is 1,820 MB and will take almost an hour to download. What I've never understood is why an N64 game on the Virtual Console can download in thirty seconds while PS1 games can take quite a while.

I don't know first-hand since I only have the PS4 version, but it looks ass-y to me in screenshots. Better looking than MK, but you know that's not saying a lot.
Not saying a lot is correct. I'm still shocked by how low quality the PS4 version looked.

Been enjoying Alpha Sapphire lately, and will soon enjoy the WiiU finally later this Tuesday once my finals are done of course.XD

Because PS1 games have high quality audio, pre-rendered videos and often pre-rendered backgrounds too, and all that stuff is not code those are containers like mp3, avi or jpg and the higher the quality the more space they take.
The N64 on the other hand used cartridge and these could only hold up to 64MB while CD-Rom could hold up to 600MB. This forced game devs to make everything real-time on the N64, aka, pure code. Code is just letters, so it doesn't take that much space. The N64 was a much more powerful than the PS1 but at the same time so highly limiting....

I think for 3DS, your Friend Code is tied to machine and not the game. So I was wondering if the friend list from XY carries over to ORAS.

Yes the FCs are tied to the machine. Well apparently you can battle people in X/Y with OR/AS (with some restrictions however), so maybe?

I know I asked to host the next Lounge, but I was bedridden all weekend from a rather nasty cold (fever and chills, the works). Therefore, I am not ready with any fancy doo-dads or pics to host. I'll have to pass it on to someone else.
In other news... there is no other news. My weekend flew by so quick because I spent 24 of those 48 hours asleep. And the other 24 lying in bed. Blah.
Dark Souls no longer uses gfwl!! Wow, and I never knew you could disable the framerate limit in dsfix. Playing Dark Souls with 2SMAA, a combination of SSAO and HBAO, glorious 60 fps (what I find amazing is how the animations are in full 60 fps too) makes it feel like an entirely new game. I'm going to play it through once more, for the gazilionth time.
I'm really in the mood to play some damn Persona, so I feel like I should finally go through Persona 3. Dunno what the best way to do so would be for me though.
