@Bigboi500: yeah but I also got better in other genres. I really do think I need some serious training though. Lol

Well, I got lucky grabbing the last copy of Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest. They're sold almost everywhere in my home town.

Have fun!
Conquest is excellent. Definitely the best of the two versions I've played so far.

I've been playing Fire Emblem for a long time, and I'm really am satisfied with the gameplay. Reminds me a lot like Gaiden and Thracia 776.

Yeah, I could guess that from your username :P
And yeah, Conquest is definitely the way to go if you've been with the series for a long time. I only started with Awakening (that and Birthright and Conquest are the only FE games I've played), but it was a very logical progression for me, going from Awakening to Birthright and now to Conquest. Can't wait to play Revelation next month.
I blame @charizard1605 for the following
Mario Maker is damn good. It's unbelievably intuitive.
It really is man.
I remember my first night on the game was a total bust. I didn't want to create anything, I just wanted to play. And most of the levels I came across were straight up garbage.
It's amazing that I even gave it another chance, but the next night was the complete opposite. One amazing level after another. Awesome platforming levels. Awesome puzzle levels. Awesome timed challenges. Some levels that made Nintendos stuff seem straight up boring. People being way too inventive with some ancient mechanics, it was cool.
Then I tried the level editor and actually enjoyed it. No, I didn't create anything worthwhile lol. I created levels that only I could understand, but it was fun.
I really need to get back on it soon.

Yeah, one of the big issues with UCG games like this is that most of the stuff on the servers will be crap- even if it is well meaning crap. Most people simply don't have the design chops to actually create a good level that is fair, challenging, and compelling lol. But damn, you're right, there is so much you can do with these mechanics that are decades old, there is sure to be some gold hidden under all the mire. There's this Cracked dude who made some levels that absolutely seem like a riot. You should definitely look those up the next time you play the game, lol. I know I will, once the game takes my training wheels off.
I actually didn't play levels much (only did some of the 10 Mario challenge, which was okay, but nothing special- but I did it to sort of warm up on my Mario reflexes, so to speak), but I sat down to create stuff, and man, that level creator is beautiful. It's so damn intuitive. It was so amazing seeing how a few minutes after I was tapping away on the Gamepad, I had a fully functional level I was playing through. It was nothing special, but I was so ridiculously proud of it lol. Definitely can't wait to have access to all the in game editing tools.
You should share some of the stuff you make, lol. We should actually have a sort of SW repository, where we can share codes for our Mario Maker levels. Just to see if we're as good at making games as we are at criticizing them, lol.
@charizard1605:
Haha, well I know I suck at designing levels, but that's not a bad idea. Might be fun! :P
I always default to creating levels that can only be beaten one way. Like you have to follow a perfect line with perfect timing or you won't be able to continue. I don't know why that is. The last level I created requires you to keep a shell moving with you, but it also puts you in harms way at all times lol. Weird, I know.
But yeah man, intuitive as can be. I guess it was to be expected, being Nintendo and all, but it was really nice after years of trying all these hacked together editors on PC. Even if they are more flexible, they're never going to be as easy or fun to use.
Btw, you might already know this, but there are ways to speed up the creation tool delivery. Unless they patched it out, it's been a while since I played.

Oh yeah, I know I can speed it up, but that sounds like such a hassle- mess around with the system clock, play for 10 minutes, exit game, mess around with system clock, restart game, play for 10 minutes. I'd do it if the Wii U OS wasn't slow as thick sludge, and if doing this didn't mess up my Activity Log, lol.
And I know what you're saying, I think those are the kinds of levels that I would gravitate towards making myself. Sort of like a rhythm game, where everything needs to be timed just right, and there is only one way to do it, and unless you do the exact right thing at the exact right time, you're probably screwed. A lot of the modern 2D platformers (not Nintendo ones, but others) are actually a lot like that.

Oh, I'm talking about something easier than that haha. I didn't even know about messing with the clock.
Just lay out a shit ton of blocks. Then copy and paste those blocks over and over again in the biggest chunks you can. The game sees it like you're cranking away at level making and pops up with a notification like "wow, looks like your tools will arrive sooner than expected!"
I think there are other tricks you can do in-between, like laying down a few of each item available. Stuff like that.
I'd say just look it up man, people found all kinds of cool in game tricks to speed delivery.
And yeah, those kinds of levels are just fun to make. I really should upload some of them to see if others can figure them out. They're fun to me, but I worry that they'll be unplayable shit when put out for play testing lol.
Bravely Second is really really fun so far BUT some of the writing is extremely grating (main offender is Yew and his constant gravy speech).
They've added a cool little gauntlet mode if you finish a battle in a single turn, makes getting EXP A LOT faster.
I went from lvl1 in all 3 of my current jobs to lvl3 in the span of 10 minutes (which is great for Bravely Default/Second

Huh. You were right! I managed to unlock some more stuff. Then I proceeded to use that stuff to make a damn sadistic level, lol.
Awesome, looks like I just have to keep doing this, and then I get everything to go by tomorrow or something.
Went to my garage to unboxed my Gamecube and boy, never thought I say this but it's so damn good to have my Gamecube back up and running. Playing Twilight Princess on my Gamecube is worth it and I have an excuse to not buy HD version, no offence @Zassimick, I just wanna play the original version as it was meant to be played on Nintendo's hardware version. I'll get the HD version when it hits at a lower price.
Never understood why the Gamecube was underrated in the first place, that machine was awesome Nintendo console since SNES.
@davillain-: Gamecube is the way to go, especially over Wii. I waited a month for that shit while other people could play on their precious, rare, new Wiis. Made me so frustrated.
But the core game of Twilight Princess HD is the Gamecube version with all the updates, including sharper visuals. I dunno man, if you're enjoying the masterpiece you might want to reconsider what you said... :3
Also @charizard1605: I'll be going to get myself a New 3DS XL this evening. The battery on my XL is getting bad and I've been wanting to upgrade, so... yeah. I also thought about waiting for the Pokemon New 3DS, but I like the larger size and at Gamestop the N3DSXL is $25 cheaper + my 3DS XL has more value when being traded towards a N3DSXL. It just makes sense.

I did. I learned the hard way in middle school, but...
-Lacking (though at least stronger than N64) third party support
-Kiddie image (which will NEVER leave Nintendo ever since the NES walked in), despite Eternal Darkness, Geist and some third party titles like Mortal Kombat and BloodRayne making it there. It was the lack of GTA (though clones like True Crime and Simpsons: Hit and Run were on there, the latter I got at a thrift shop for $3 as that game goes for nearly $20 used via Amazon sellers) and something like GoW that made "mature" gamers shun that console at the time.
-Endless worship of the PlayStation 2 (and XBOX, though, at least according to TVTropes, it seems after the death of XBOX Live and release of the 360, the charm of that console died out, where GameCube just rose starting with the Wii's release), in spite of that consoles numerous flaws (like Sony STILL relying on multitap for four player local play).
Still, despite my feelings about it's reception turn, it's arguably my favorite Nintendo console, overthrowing the N64. But with the exception of Gamespot and Electric Playground, I don't think even non-Nintendo centric critics gave it a fair shake either at the time (X-Play, Game Informer) or ever (ScrewAttack, especially with this god awful list below).

Dude, it's a JRPG.

JRPGs are known for their incredible writing.
True, and Uncharted is know for its incredibly layered level design.
just bought the witcher 3
what am i in for, brehs?
is the second game important? i only ever played the first :/
Nah, you can skip both the previous games and still enjoy this.
It's a great game, enjoy.
Man, all the felicity/Oliver bullshit in Arrow is so bad now. No idea why I still watch this show
Second season. One of my favorite seasons of television. Sure, i's not the greatest television, but I absolutely loved it.
Gah... thank goodness for Flash at the moment. And Legends of Tomorrow is fun for me. But Arrow? They just keep sucking... And I hate to say that.

Arrow has been one massive suckfest ever since the Deathstroke story arc ended.

You're in for one hell of a game, bro. Enjoy it.
And nah, you can go in without ever having played a minute of Witcher and still have a blast. You'll get more of the subtler story nods if you're more familiar with the universe (the more familiar you are- books, games- the better), but nothing of significant value is lost if you just jump in with TW3.

Yeah, Flash has been pretty good. Season 2 isn't as awesome as S1 was, but the show is still consistently enjoyable. Arrow is just horrible, it hasn't been good since Season 2 ended. Haven't watched any of the Flash episodes since the December mid-season finale though, gotta catch up.
Haven't tried Legends of Tomorrow either. How good is it? If I like Flash, is this something I should definitely check out?
That said, Daredevil is probably the best superhero TV show right now. I know, apples and oranges, but man, the sheer quality of that show...

Yeah, you do have to catch up. There's some good stuff happening.
Legends of Tomorrow is more of its own thing. It's sloppy, and it has a terrible villain, but it's fun. I watch it every week and that's about the most I can say for it.
While I'd say Daredevil is probably the tightest superhero show yet, I would say with confidence that The Flash is my favorite superhero show and arguably could be considered the best depending on what you want from a super hero show.

Yeah, I mean, when I think of the closest a superhero TV show comes to being better than (or as good as) Daredevil, The Flash is probably it. They're very different tonally, so yeah, I guess it depends on where your preferences lie.

I almost forgot, I blame you for the 9 Day training locked content on Mario Maker!

Yeah I remember being irritated I had to wait an extra month for the cube release lol.
I have to say, I was excited for the HD release but looking at it some more I really think they messed up the look of the game. Twilight Princess, and Re4 I think were never meant for HD for one, the geometry just doesn't scale well to HD and they really messed up some of the faces in TP HD. Also, the lighting, in places i've seen they've removed shadows and lighting and lessens the atmosphere. Not to mention the game drops frames. I've noticed more but i'll just leave it at that haha.
That's the thing with these re-releases, I don't even ask for them anymore because it's so easy to make them worse if they're not careful. I actually got a deal on the gamecube version recently because of the remaster coming out :)

You should make the new Lounge
I would volunteer to make a new lounge myself but... meh. I've got nothing relevant or witty to use as a theme.
The Pokemon Gen 7 leak was a surprise, since the Direct was reportedly only 5 minutes I didn't figure they'd unveil such a major thing, you know? But I suppose it's cool all the same.
I also applaud @Zassimick for his sig request service, and while I considered using it, chances are he wouldn't be able to make sigs like the ones I frequent. Pretty sure it's nigh impossible to find that manga series online anymore, let alone the high res scans I got. :P
