**** no, that show is terrible. The first season is badly written tripe, the following seasons are just more of said tripe. It has one reasonably compelling element and that is the interplay between Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright, but the overall show is a gigantic waste of their performances anyway.

How much better or worse is persona 3 to persona 4? Got deep into P4G again and I'm curious about Persona 3.
I preferred the characters and general atmosphere in P3. Found the game a little more eventful, too. It starts strong, but becomes abit of a slog towards the end, P4 I felt was the other way around.
I originally played the OG P4 and didnt really see much improvement over how groundbreaking P3 was when I first played it - it felt fresh compared to the other great JRPGs that were coming out around that time, so I always look at P3 more fondly than 4 compared to others.

I'm playing Persona 3 Portable right now.
The biggest problem is that it feels a touch... sterile isn't the right word, but I feel disconnected from the characters which is a bad thing and really the reason why I keep stalling on the game. The lack of cutscenes, the lack of seeing the characters emote onscreen, it really leaves a bit to be desired. Would have loved a Persona 3 Black edition or something for the Vita that was like P4G.

Persona 3 has the better story and soundtrack, and also a far better atmosphere. The gameplay, characters, and Social Links in general are not quite as good, however.
If you get Persona 3 Portable, it's not going to be a dramatic step down from Persona 4, so by all means, go ahead, but FES is the most full featured version of the game.
@mems_1224: Alright, so yeah, it plays well, but the storytelling sort of takes a hit. Still, on the whole, you'll probably enjoy it, though not as much as P4G.
Reminiscing the old Pokemon days with the first Generation's best being Charizard, Gyarados, and mewtwo. Having a mewtwo was like being a god in the single player. Later generations had cool designs but the first is just the best and I'm sure many will disagree.

My golden days are still with HeartGold and SoulSilver. The original Red and Blue were just problematic in so many ways, and Gold and Silver fixed that. Then, HeartGold and SoulSilver much later just was the perfect package, with my favorite feature of having your lead Pokemon follow you.

Ya know, now that I think about it, every move psychics were weak against/ or supposed to be weak against was pathetically weak in Gen 1. There were hardly any good bug types move to use against psychic type Pokemon, Twin Needle had some decent potential, but was only learned by weak little Beedrill who was listed as poison and he was consider a double-edge sword. Also if your referring to the mistaken messages from super effective such as electric/flying [Zapdos] attack message, the message that displayed when a move hit (Super Effective, Not Very Effective, or nothing) was determined by some weird logic that worked fine for single types, but meant that dual types would sometimes not get the right message displayed. The damage would still be calculated correctly, however.

Yeah man. I was convinced that I would have no hype for it, especially after Type 0 was so bad last year, but this game just looks boss. Like, it's hard for me to explain, but it sort of reminds me of old school Final Fantasy. Not in any tangible way, just the feeling I get from watching it being played.
I really hope Square don't f*ck this up man, I really want this game to be good. Tabata's a god for how he's managed to turn around people's perception of this game, though.
Because it needs to, Chaz. It just needs to after, what was it, a decade of misery for development-side Square?
Here we have the 15th major entry for a long-running series in a genre known for its rigidness seamlessly blending stealth plus ARPG fare and even a bit of shooting, all for a mere 'gimmick' scenario as far as we know -- and doing it well. Were this, say, Call of Duty, the same 'gimmick' scenario would've been treated as an afterthought that's given 10 seconds of design time and then have a character hand-hold you through anyway.
Bodes well for FF7-R in how they're trying to be more creative in designing scenarios and shows how advantageous real-time action can be compared to turn-based.

If your wondering why I got 2 fight sticks, Mad Catz somehow screw up the shipments and I ended up 2 despite I had enough money to pay for just one and that shit ain't cheap. I honestly don't know what to do with the other one, I don't need to fight sticks. I'm gonna see if I can sell the other one.
@jg4xchamp: I got my Chun-Li TES2 about almost 2 weeks ago, I only paid for just one stick, I sent them a message asking them if I can return the second one but Mad Catz hasn't responded to me yet. The stick is high quality as it is, I'm just surprise they haven't respond to me as of yet. I only paid $229 for just one.
@Zassimick: i loved the future generations too but the design for some just got more unoriginal and lacking compared to the earlier ones. Also Zapdos was one of my favourites as well, he reminds me of Sasuke lol don't ask.
