Well thats your opinion that my opinion is wrong. Im not saying the game sucks doggy dodo, but its not the best game this gen in anyway at all.

Halo 3 is not a FPS game (online gameplay speaking), it's a FP-throw.sticky.grenades.or.use.melee.attack.&.see.them.die game.

Team Fortress 2 is fun, but its not the best. Also this poll has awful choices.

arma 2 is a horrible experience if you dont have the tech to run it properly.

Halo 3 isnt the greatest, but it is fun.

COD 4 - is also good. but like halo, its noobish.

KZ2: - different weighted and feel to the fps - gave it a more indepth feel especially with the graphics.

Crysis- great graphics, okay - gampeplay

Tie between KZ2 and TF2: its cause you need skill to play these games.

Between ArmA II, TF2, and CoD4. Honestly, anyone choosing the other 2 has no taste in online shooters. There...I said it. And that's talking the PC version of CoD4 and TF2...the other versions are a joke compared to the PC versions (though this is this case 99% of the time). ArmA II is PC exclusive so no reason to say PC version there. :)

All have fairly large following except for Stalker. Servers are up though the numbers playing are usually in the 100's - 150's. Not too many online usually. It's a single player focused game though so it's understandable. The original Stalker sold over 2 million copies and has more of a following online than Clear Sky.

Play TF2 on PC and then go back to Halo 3. Classbased play, more players, custom made maps, larger community, etc etc. TF2 is superior in every single way possible. Regardless of whether or not Halo 3 scored higher than TF2, it's inferior to TF2. TF2 is far more competitive than Halo 3 (at least in smaller games). Go watch Youtube, they have competitive TF2 matches on PC. Real stuff rather than a bunch of dudes in suits floating around a map hoping for autoaim to kick in any second.

I can't actually find it either :( But trust me it was very detailed in the bugs, and glitches in TF2, the balance issues with certain classes and maps and items, the netcode, and everything in between. It just has far too many problems to be awarded a high score imo regardless of whether or not Valve supports it free of charge.

I personally jsut think the game has gone downhill since it came out. I mean if you asked me the first time i Played this game I think I honestly would have given it a 9 because the classes were all fixed, and polished from what TFC was. Unfortunately I reviewed it a week or two ago, and not a few years ago.

Halo 3 is the major game at mlgs, proof right there guys. I played TF2 and i admit Halo 3 is far more skillfull.

For me it's between COD4 and KZ2...even though I enjoyed KZ2 more, I got hooked to COD4 longer BUT there wasn't much to play on the PS3 when COD4 released...

So I guess KZ2 for me.

TF2 is a great shooter but there is a long list of shooters (1st & 3rd person) i enjoyed more..

KZ2, COD4, R2, Warhawk, SOCOM, Geow2, L4D & even WAW..

What exactly is so bad about the console versions? I'm getting a 360 and The Orange Box, am I going to have a crappy time with TF2?Head_of_games

1. Lack of mouse and keyboard, TF2 is actually fast paced, more so depending on what class you play as.

2. There is not a single class update. So, you're missing out on six class updates (Medic, Pyro, Heavy, Scout, Spy, and Sniper), four game modes (Payload, Arena, Double Payload, King of the Hill), a TON of new maps, a TON of bug fixes, and a TON of class rebalancing fixes.

3. In vanilla TF2 (which is pre-Medic update, which is what the 360 version is), the Spy and Pyro classes are really frustrating to play as, since they were a little broken, and their updates and rebalances moved the classes to well worth playing.

4. If the updates ever arrive, you'll have to pay for them due to MS. Valve wants to give away the content.

5. Lack of custom maps. There are actually some worth a damn unlike CS custom maps.
