Tekken 6 no longer PS3 exclusive

All of a sudden Tekken 6 got a huge upgrade due to XBL. Jump In.

Also all of a sudden Tekken 6 got a confirmed release date due to M$.

It was never an exclusive. It's just coming out for the 360 when people thought it was an exclusive.

It was never an exclusive. It's just coming out for the 360 when people thought it was an exclusive.

it's even better for namco to go multiplat rather than stay on the ps3, who has a so much lesser market compared to the 360. and that's thinking profit-wise. too bad for sony though, their marketing effort this gen is just POOR.

If Sony keep screwing this up, i may be forced to go with a 360 but only if they fix the RROD.

i thought lems said Tekken wasn't a good series, and Virtua Fighter and Dead or Alive were the true really good fighting series.

it's time to Sony start playing by MS' rules and start buying some exclusives.

Sony did great buying studios, but now is the time to buy third party titles.

I think it will better on PS3 just because of the controller. The PS3 favours the d-pad - fighting games are better with the d-pad.

No, I still love Tekken. It's one of my favourite fighting games and I can't wait to play Tekken 6. It's going to be great.

Most likely, there was nothing that says it would be on the PS3, people were listing Star Ocean 4 as a PS3 exclusive before it became a 360 exclusive, so it may be people who still think it will be on the PS3.

Why? IT's a fighting game...can easily be done on 360 with 1 disc.

WHAT the **** did MS do? Namco put it on 360 due to how well SCIV did on it. MS didn't pay Namco to put tekken on 360. sheesh.

he was talking about sony NOT securing tekken 6 as a ps3 exclusive.

doesnt matter though, better to be a multiplay than staying with the ps3 having a lesser market than the 360.

never really got along with them....but not spent a massive amount of time in arcades

Some folks laughed at me when I said this would happen but I could see it plain as day. No one wanted to believe me when I said the third party exclusive is all but dead now and here you see that I was right about Tekken 6 making the jump to the Xbox 360 all along.

Namco has really liked the whole DLC model so far. Ace Combat 6 did not sell millions on the 360 but it has made a lot of money on all of the DLC. Tales of Vesperia is also starting to come out with new DLC. I am sure that Namco will have a ton of DLC for Tekken 6.
