Dude, seriously, no one on any forum has ever made me laugh that hard. That's cl@ssic. Whoever made that should be president of the world.
that made you laugh hard? doesn't take much does it.[QUOTE="SgtWhiskeyjack"]Will my VF 5 Hori stick work well with Tekken? Or is there a better stick I can buy my 360?
I didn't expect this. It's seem no 3rd party PS3 exclusive is safe.
What MS is doing is almost exactly what Sony did with the PS1, except they bought exclusive rights to a lot of the games therefore elbowing out the opposition. Shoe seesms to be on the other foot now.

There is this fabulous beast.

Nah. Sony gave it to Microsoft without a fight.
Lol nicely put. :P
[QUOTE="lawlessx"][QUOTE="SSCyborg"][QUOTE="ReverseCycology"]If true, you'll get the usual oh the game sucked away comments for the cows.
ive never liked FF, and even now that its comming out on 360 , i still dont like it, and i will never buy it
DireToad
Remember E3?
"Oh I was more hyped for FFVsXIII anyways."
i bring that up many times around here and for good reason.
[QUOTE="InfinityMugen"]Honestly what is the reason to own a PS3 if Sony keeps losing more and more exclusives?-Renegade
What reason is there to own a 360? It works both ways.
Let's see -- I can play PS3 games for $200 CHEAPER. Isn't that interesting?Despite what has happened this gen, it still wierd to think of Tekken on an Xbox. As of now I still expect the PS3 version to sell the most, but we'll see what happens.
The initial vision of the PS3 was a true beast. I remember how PS3 fans could list both VF5 and Tekken 6 as exclusive fighters, and 360 only had DOA. Now the 360 has all 3, and VF5 online is the better version.
from another thread:
[QUOTE="Ninpo_Osa"]Didn't you guys learn your lesson from MGS4?madterps
They're lemmings. They never learned anything. As to TC, Tekken 6 was built with the PS3 in mind. Namco has been always loyal to Sony. They made all their arcade boards with Sony hardware.I don't see how the Xbrick is going to getthis game.
^^selfownage confirmed!
wow, tekken must be HUGE to get as much as 400 posts.joopyme
this thread mainly consists of cows running around in damage control
I didn't catch any of the confernces, all I see are cows damage controlling in every thread..must have been bad for Sony..kinda like the last game conference..Erik_LensherrSony isn't finished yet. You gotta show me “cows in damage control in every thread” Its been pretty typical SW day. There is some damage control from cows but then thats only a small portion. Then again others groups are damage controlling as well.
I own both consoles so I could care less. But what im pissed about though is Fall 2009? Are you serious? I thought this game was supposed to come out by the end of this year?

Indeed it is. If Tekken 6 was announed PS3 exclusive, Cows would have rejoiced and we would have been reminded that Tekken is the *real* fighting game franchise.Patience, padawan!I want Street Fighter 4:cry:
Man I didn't know this many people cared about Tekken, maybe I should have gotten in on it. I've always been a Dead or Alive guy though. I was sad to see that fighting series go exclsuive to the 360 when I didnlt have one. Sucked
hayato_
After months of hype?Lol this is the frst I heard of tekken epic_pets
You've never heard of Tekken? Lulz! Really? :|
I don't get why Tekken 6 being non exclusive is such a big deal....couple of Sony games becoming non exclusive doesn't mean the end of Sony....
So it means it would be better if it happened like BioShock? Being exclusive for a while....then porting it to another system...
[QUOTE="finalfantasy94"][QUOTE="ReverseCycology"]Apparently all PS3 third party exclusive games needed a bailout plan and Jumped In.
ReverseCycology
Yea a 360 exclusive never went to ps3:roll:. Get over yourself you lem.
Games like Tekken and Final Fantasy were the foundation of the Playstation brand. And these games going to the competition is just a realization that the era that made the Playstation brand so great is no more this gen. Times have change, its time to move on, its time to Jump In.
tekken until tekken 5 can be played in my nearby arcade station.
final fantasy couldnt be considered a "foundation" since most of the games are/were ported to nintendo and to the pc.
but yeah, im disappointed at sony for not making ff13 an exclusive.
your first statement is just plain wrong, bobo talaga.
pinakamalakas na pinoy lemming ka talaga reverse.
ya know, fine.. FINE. Since everyone is all down on sucking off benjamin franklin, all I want is a little more give on the PS3. Out of all the games that have went multiplat, what have we gotten in return? Saints Row? Eternal Sonata? Yay. If I were anymore impressed I might die from mediocrity. What I want to know from whoreco is where the **** is the PS3 version of ace combat? Timed exclusive? How long is this time frame? 5 years?Kenji_Masamune
Just wait , it'll come with an extra 2 jets and extra training mission...bad new though worse graphics, and still 60.00..
It's not just cows that are owned.
Systems are getting owned. Holy crap, if Tekken is going multi-plat, what's the point of having multiple systems?
Are developers trying to push for a single console?

Ever wonder Tekken 6 takes a crap-tonne of money to make, so Namco have decided to go multiplat? Besides, I'd buy it for 360 - I'm really happy it's coming on a console I was gonna get with a bunch of games anyway.

God forbid we choose a console based on it's value, merits and reliability rather than because our favourite game is on it. Also sony is pulling a fast one on MS, concentrating on first party exclusives when most third party games are going multiplat is smart.
Sony comes through again. For 360 owners.jackvegas21
I know man. They truly love us I can tell. Letting us share so many of their games. How nice of SONY. I

Whoa man don't twist what I said just so you can go into freakin' damage control. Besides, there's 30 pages already so I think it's enough.
What I'm trying to say affects all parties. This generation is the first time we're seeing almost no third party exclusives whatsoever. Those are a helluva lot of games, man. Games define and will always define a system. Not Blu-Ray, not HD-DVD, or even XBL or PSN.
And what's happened to the video game race? It's slowly faltering.
Big changes are about to happen.

You may have a nearby arcade with Tekken, but alot of people don't live near them, also with the home version of Tekken you don't have to spend money on gas (getting to the arcade) and pay money to play it every time (only have one time price).
I will admit that this bit of news left me with a crow. I had always thought the Tekken franchise was tied up in a Sony/Namco hardware/software partnership, as all but one Tekken title up to now had been exclusive to PlayStations (the one exception occurred before the PSP came out), and every Tekken machine on the arcade market uses PlayStation technology in it.
With this development, I have to wonder. If there ever is a Tekken 7, will it break with tradition and use PC technology instead (in related news, most companies still in the arcade business have gone this route; VF5, SF4, and KoF12 all use or will use PC-based technology).

It probably costs a lot to make a game on PS3 or 360 alone and if they want a whole lot of profit they might as well just make it on both.

guess everyone should be happier specially those who either own just a 360 or just a Ps3.... the tekken series has always been the best fighting game (imo) so this should make all fighting games fans who own one of the above mentioned consoles happy...Malta_1980
The people who are upset would generally be;
A) People who own both consoles who are now seeing less and less of a reason to do so.
B) People who might have bought a 360 if they had known how many third party japanese titles were going to go multiplat.

meh..fighting games are prolly more enjoyable on joysticks, so thats a good thing for 360 owners.
not getting the game anyways.
tekken doesn't deserve to be called an exclusive, on either console.
i don't think because of this, someone will be obligated to buy a ps3 or a 360(if it was an exclusive).
now the thing about ff13.................................
WHOLE DIFFERENT EFFIN STORY.
I AM STILL SO EFFIN DISAPPOINTED.
yes, i still havent EFFIN got over that issue.
