this is true, but the thing is before HDDVD went south you needed to buy an external harddrive for it and 2 you also need a addapter for wirless internet and finally the console only has 20gb on standard consoleswhich is gone like britney spears career in a few seconds. i own a PS3 and don't mind the 360 but it just ain't for me, especialy since i only go online like 2 a month so not much point in me buying a XBOX LIVE subscription since I don't go online to offten so its a waist of $80 Australian
Eh, PC gaming only has plenty of each genre because it spreads over much more time then any console does. As I can clearly see you are a hermit. The 360 is by far better then the other consoles in terms of variation and quantity of each.

I only state truth. In reality no one single platform can satisfy every gamer, each one has genres and game types it's strong at as well as those it sucks at. 360 isn't an exception to that.

I use to Play RO all the time and was fine for the most part running and gunning, more so than playing Graw on singleplayer which was based around using cover.opex07

Well, I voted no, but I don't mean it doesn't have Sony franchises so it fails. The Xbox 360 has a lack of variety and even though there is almost a game for every genre, the Xbo 360's best games are the shooters.

360 is a great system with great library, and anybody that disagrees is a fanboy, period. Same goes for PC, Wii, and PS3, all have great games, and a diverse library.
It doesnt have the games that have owned my life in the past such as
Socom 2 and Socom series
and of course my fav, the MGS series.

Believe me Ive tried many many times.
Socom 2 killed it for me for any other online shooter.
I feel the same way about any other game I've tried after playing Socom. Once a person plays the game and really get's into it, it's hard to find any game that can match these games. So far Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon came close but still fell short.
When you go from console to console and have a check list for genres, you'll realize that the Xbox 360 do really have more selections for their gamers than the competitions.
I mean do the PS3 and Wii have alot of RTS games, MMOs, more RPG games, etc. than the 360 at this moment of time? No. So the TC speaks the truth when he says the 360 has almost anything for any gamer. And that's that.

I hate to gripe about this again, but comparing PCs to consoles is like comparing a Ferrari to a camaro. yea the consoles are great, but are not in the same ballpark as the PCs. You can put multiple video cards into the PC. ram can go to 4gigs, and vid Ram is Sting around 728 megs per card. now when you talk about wars isn't that a little one sided?

Why am I bashed for typing my opinion? I never said the wii or ps3 weren't for every gamer, I simply stated that the 360 can be for every gamer,that goes for any console(Well except the 3do,gizmondo,cd-1,jaguar),I must have worded it wrong or something.
