The 360 has exclusives and XBLA is proof of this which destroys psn

....seriously why is this point overlooked? Actually I think I have an idea why and it simply has to do with the fact that if we count XBLA titles then the 360 looks just as good as the ps3 in terms of exclusives and may even be a bit better to be honest. In all honesty I just feel that Xbox Live Arcade destroys Playstation Network.

I seriously have had more fun with some digital titles such as Splosion Man and Limbo than the entire ps3 exclusive catalogue. The ps3 exclusives, with the exception of UC2 and maybe MAYBE KZ3, just don't do much for me.

....and this is without even mentioning the Dishwasher games, Shadow Complex, Trials HD, Hydro Thunder Hurricane, Super Meatboy, Torchlight, Snoopy Flying Ace and Toy Soldiers which are also great fun games.

So why are great games being overlooked simply because they are from the "arcade"? There really is no good reason. I mean games like Torchlight is being compared to Diablo which is a huge game. By the way this sales article is an incredible feat for Torchlight....

...so yeah Xbox Live Arcade games need to be given attention because they are "games" just like retail games. The only reason to ignore an arcade game is for the very same reason one would ignore a retail game and that is if it sucks. And just like retail games XBLA has its fair share of "questionable" games but just like retail games there are gems that shouldn't be missed.

They are ignored in the SW world cause according to the rules they dont count as AE,AAE or AAAE. Its sad but true.

We do compare XBLA and PSN Games and XBLA is better. PS3 retail exclusives are better than 360's based on GS scores

I see your point but then I look at a game like Shadow Complex and I don't really see that as being "short". Then again I tend to really take my time with games of that nature.

Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy VII are bad examples because they can be played on PC.

Well, this discussion have never really died. It basically started when Braid released and every AAA dowloadable game since have brought it up all over again with every side switching opinion of course :P

Because it isn't a deciding factor to get me to buy an Xbox 360 seeing how I would never need an Xbox 360 in order to play it.

Let's face it, if all 360 fanboys can do is bring in the "share exclusives with PC" card, they have no actual exclusives to lean on.

If any of those games were ever on an Xbox console they would've been placed in the "Games on Demand" section NOT the "arcade" section and thus I don't see the point of you listing those games. It's not the same thing.

I don't think one great XBLA release is going to make up for this year's lack of exclusives.

Different standards and all that jazz. Downloadable titles tend to fall into the same categories as remakes as nice games that don't "don't count."
