The 360's are all gone !

I just game back from a trip to my lcal Best Buy.

I went there to pick up something else but while there I thought I might just buy a Elite b/c my 360 is being repaired and it may be a few more days before I get it back.

ALL the 360's are gone - I'm not kidding one bit - empty shelves !!

They did have 4 Halo special editions there but I want the 120 gig HD if I'm going to buy another one !

While checking out with some ink carts I was buying there were at least 6 people standing in line with 360's !

This is true and I'm as surprised as any non believer but thats exactly the way it is !

the life time Hermit just picked up a new Elite....

Says hes still going to up grade his PC for Orange Box and Crysis.

But yeah, he bought a 360 for Halo 3, and everything else is just a bonus.

Yeah I bought a core when my launch Premium RROD'd. Always a good thing to have a backup (they double as great HDTV Media Center Extenders if you have Vista Ultimate!). MrEpyx

Lems are really only concerned with out-selling the PS3.

Been too Walmart three times in the last few weeks all three times they were sold out of 360s and PS3s. And one of the three times they had Wiis.HarlockJC

I'm sure it's different everywhere but I was taken back as I figured it would move 360's but never thought for a minute that I wouldn't be able to just walk in and buy a Elite !

I'm just chuckling to myself at that cow guy who said Halo 3 was going to suck big time and Killzone would easily score higher. Well Killzone IS NOT GOING TO GET 10. I can tell you that now, especialy if bioschock or halo 3 didnt. Guess It's time i tracked down a halo 1 & 2 to play through them to rememeber the story before I go play halo3. Shame I won't be playing the multiplayer till about this time next year. Gears should be cleaned of 10 year olds now as they'd have all moved to halo. Same thing happened to halo 2.

Soon as gears came out they all ran to it and let me play halo 2 in peace.

It only means that they will refuse to buy a system b/c of the country the company; MS is headquartered in.

I bet Sony and Nintendo would sure notice if the N.A. V.G. players responded in the same way.

Being an American, I'm cool with that.

I believe Ninja Gaiden 2, DMC4, and future Capcom (huge supporter of x360) games will be enough for me. Other Japense devs are also bringing their games to the x360.:)

I dont know were you live, but not here in North America.

The 360 leads the Wii in sales 7.5 million to 4.5 million roughly.

hmm plenty of 360s at the best buys here. i was out all weekend looking for a wii for my mother because she wants to be able to play the new dance dance on it. i could not find a one of them. but there were plenty of 360s everywhere i went. and a lot of the halo editionones. i am amost debating buying the halo edition because i think it is going to be a collectors item because no one is purchasing them. but i cant blame them that is the uggliest console i have ever seen. it is as if they sat down with an artists and said make this console as ugly as possible! i would like to see a star wars or ff version of it though.frankeyser

I kinda wanted to get the Halo one just for a collection but couldnt pull the trigger; as you said, I'm not a fan of the look of it and it lacks the 120 gig HD.

Just look up sales by each market. The USA is, by far, the largest market. Europe being 2nd and Japan 3rd.

If you want to get informed, then start reading: USA is 43% and Japan market 17%
