Lol....how clueless are you? The tumourstation 5 is actually heavier than the more powerful XsX. It weighs in at a whopping 10.5 lbs, and is the biggest and heaviest console ever....

.....and if the fattest person in the world wasn't so fat, he wouldn't be the fattest person in the world. It's called design...the xsx will fit nicely under my centre speaker while I have no idea where I would put the Sony monstrosity.

No is not i saw the weight 4.5K is about 9.9 pounds not 10.5,and the digital version is actually 8.5 pounds.

@tormentos: Wrong. Tumourstation 5 is taller and deeper by a long shot, and only 2 inches narrower than xsx.....Amazon has it listed at 10.58 lbs, but because nobody has seen the damn thing we don't know if it's 10 or 10.5 pounds.

What we do know is that the xsx comes in at 4.45 kilos, which....drumroll....is lighter than the 4.5 kilos you hope the tumourstation will be, so either way...it's bigger and heavier.

Being that bulky it doesn't look good imo. If it was slimmer, I think it would look great.

Something about the Series X is growing on me slowly. Not planning on getting it at all though. There isn't much point in owning a PC and an Xbox imo. So if I'm buying a console, it'll be a PS5. Still wait a year or so down the line. Not planning on early adopting.

Doesnt look so big in comparison to the huge tv, but for me both the ps5 and the series x are way too big to fit confortably near the tv. But i think that in american and europe people probably have more space.

People really complaining that the PS5 weighs like an ounce more than an XSX? Usually with electronics, a little heft is a sign of good quality. I guess I'm one of the few who like the look of it(vertically not horizontal). I wish it was a bit smaller though. It won't make any difference in my setup since it's just going on top of a dresser next to my tv.

I can't help but feel Sony dropped the ball on the design of this one. It will not look classy alongside the majority of modern day tv and cabinet designs and is going to instead stick out like a sore thumb. The silly clamshell is unnecessary and just adds to the eyesore. At least the Xbox will blend in well with most current day subwoofers and soundbar designs and not look too out of place.

Can't wait to see just how much louder it is compared to XSX/XSS... Its 2020, by now these manufactures should get the drift about the importance of airflow and how it impacts PWM fans.

Call me old fashioned, but I prefer my consoles to be symmetrical.

Not attractive, but I don't think I care all that much. I don't buy consoles at launch unless there's a must play. Maybe by the time I invest there will be a redesign or slim model.
