The almighty gears of war 3 hype thread.This godly game has obtained a 9.5 on GS

This game will score AAA here, but its the game I'm looking forward to most this year, followed closely by Uncharted 3.

My friend and I just finished Gears 2 on Insane and boy was it a load of fun.

I don't think I can ever play Gears 2 story again. Just the thought of being on that boat fighting the squid thing fills me with such rage.

A flop is a game that does not meet its hype score, if AA receives the most votes and it receives that score then it didn't flop...

The official hype may end up being AAA like some of the other big blockbuster games so I'm keeping my poll that way unless the poll results show otherwise.

I'm hyping this a 9.5+ for sure. It's going to be my game of year. With all of the new campaign videos out and the amazing graphics and wonderful changes to the multiplayer, this game couldn't get much better. AAA if not AAAA. The 20th of September cannot come soon enough!

AAA games looks awesome from beta all rsts on the campaign im pretty sure beast and horde mode will rock.

It is more appealing to look at, artistically speaking.

9 or 9.5 it will get, hard to say though between those two.

Think itll be AAA though as far as gamespot score goes.

I know, and it looked very good, just saying that SMG2 looked better.

I'm not excited at all for this game. But I'd say it'll score in the AAA range when it releases so that's my choice.

See Machinarium for example. One of the best looking games this gen and its mostly grey

IT WILL be incredible. So many improvements, like Horde 2.0 injects some tower defense in it, and is arguably still the best mode of it's kind yet (maybe spec ops will also be good). The multiplayer is absoultly fantastic, the campaign brilliant, the graphics improved, art style made better. It looks awesome

I been having issues with linking stuff on GS in the last couple of days so I wasn't able to update this thread. I hope everyone enjoys the update now. Please try to keep all Gears of War3 talk in this thread.

Will try my best to keep this thread upated in the next couple of weeks until the game's release.

The beta was great. I know the multiplayer will be the best Gears of War ever had.
