lol i thought we cant bump old threads like this? anywayz dont believe the poll, we dont use polls in hype threads anymore. we count each person that votes in the thread and tally it up in the end. that way the poll is not sabotaged. so the hype isnt really aaa. in the most recent but now closed real hype thread the hype votes were aaaa so far. take down the poll its not accurate **
im frankly disappointed about the amount of traffic (or lack of) that is going on in this thread.. its a hype thread..for the 360s biggest game this year (and one i CANNOT wait for) yet its only got like 200 posts... sure i KNOW as soon as some reviews start hitting the web it will reach over 9000 in a minute but come on people! LEMS!! my step brothers!! RISE UP!! and TAKE THIS FORUM BY STORM!! [spoiler] :P [/spoiler] 6 more days!
well.. ive never REALLY been into the gears mp.. its good.. But i just dont get hooked that well with it.. im not a fan of the maps i think it is lol But these gears 3 ones look cool! That being said.. as i am with resistance i am with gears.. im all in it for the SP :) how about yourself?

As in, I'm not very excited about a third person shooter featuring big guys in bigger armor with guns and chainsaw-like weapons fighting hordes of aliens when a Warhammer 40k game just came out. It was mostly just a jab at the folks who insisted repeatedly that Space Marine was a Gears rip off, despite the fact that all the stuff it "ripped off" from Gears was in Warhammer 40k over a decade before the first Gears. Thus the :P
Us GEARS lovers are too cool to post right now GEARS 2 is my most played game of all time..... BRILLIANT!!! got my EPIC EDITION on order and CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!!! BIGGEST GAME OF MY LIFE SO FAR..........for real :)
From what I played of the beta it was a blast. Games that start off normally as 9.5s have a hard time recreating the magic that made them so good since they're no longer the first to do it.

Thus the :P You mean you missed my "winking man" too. Oh dear oh dear. anyone who thinks space marines haven,t been before is silly. gears is all about the weapons. Lancer chainsaw is easily the most satifying kill in gaming imoCertainly, there aren't any space marines in video games that predate 40k's Space Marines, and the similarities in imagery between the Gears characters and 40k's Marines is very visible. Lancer executions are pretty sweet... I don't know about most satisfying in gaming though, especially with some of the awesome executions in Space Marine (not just the chainsword kills... I'm partial to the crushing a head under a thousand pound boot stomp one, myself...)
Looks like a great game, payed my Pre Order off 2 days ago. I had many problems with Gears 2, but after playing the Beta I can safely say this game will not disappoint me. Can't wait to get in to Horde 2.0, Love the Tower Defense style they went with. And nothing wrong with adding Dedicated Servers after the mess Gears 2 was MP wise. Also glad they're adding Bright Lights to the Shotty, now I know when to keep back ;) Hyping it AAAE.
I say 9.5 based on what I've seen in the MP alone. It just looks bad***! Also factor in that the story from what I'm hearing is better and I don't see how this should score lower than a 9.0.
