Lots of different opinions. Shows how much depth the franchise has.

Wha-, wha-. wha-, WHAT? You haven't played A Link to the Past? Dude, get down to it, get down to it NOW. It's only like the greatest game ever created, second to none. Seriously, track down a copy of this game and play it. Preferably the GBA version, that one was far and away the best one. What's with all this praise A Link To The Past is getting, i would have guessed it had such a depth that it would put most games to shame or something. I thought it was a simple top down action-adventure game with a standard simple story. How's the story? How's the gameplay? I never played this also (god damn!), but i'm not gonna miss out on it if its worth it.

i remember waking up early on weekends to play it when i was a kid, definitely one of those games that made me love gaming
I enjoyed Wind Waker the most, Twilight Princess the least. I dont understand how people like TP so much, it was lacking in so may areas.

It probably has the best dungeons in the entire series.
Anyways, Phantom Hourglass is the best Zelda
Majora's Mask, the story was more darker and fleshed out. The villian was new and had more of a character than just being pure evil, the use of the masks was fun and interesting, and the world was new and fun to explore.
True, dat. I think the only 3D Zelda that I have legitimately had fun with (as in had fun fun with- mostly, with 3D Zelda games, its more about being in awe of their epicness and all) is The Wind Waker. Otherwise, 2D Zeldas have always been more fun.[QUOTE="charizard1605"][QUOTE="locopatho"] 2D Zelda fo life ;)AmayaPapaya
If your looking for just fun in your Zelda games, Ninty said that SS is going to focus less on story and dungeons, and more on "fun."
Wow. This would definitely suck, please tell me Nintendo didnt say that.
Objectively, I think it comes down to a three way brawl between A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask.
Personally, I'd give it to Ocarina. Playing Ocarina for the first time was experiencing something truly exceptional. Very few games have made me feel that way.

The dungeons were possibly the best in the series. However, I never really enjoy the dungeons in Zelda games. TP didnt really do anything else as good as the previous games.
Edit: Also, I really enjoyed PH, much more than ST.

That good? ..
No way, do not tempt me, i already spent enough getting MGS1, 2 and 3; Zelda OoT & MM, a N64 console and a few more for my PS1. I got enough to play for a couple of months, maybe i'll get it i find some cheap used one.
