On that Street Fighter 4 video, I was trying to do one of Juri's Moves and I was failing a whole lot.

It's amazes me how often I hear about GG being much deeper and more difficult than BB (which is true) yet execution by American players is still terrible in both games. I don't mean that to sound super elitist, I just find it funny how people haven't really mastered either game or their deeper mechanics yet act like BB is below them.
juno84
That's a rather large generalization, don't you think?
Saying that there are a lot of people who never mastered either game and think BB is below them? I'd say that's pretty true if you frequent the dustloop forums and I imagine you do. Also true is that the level of competition in the US for GG and BB was never that great. There were a few players who are obviously a large cut above the general populous and even they aren't good enough to get past first round at SBO ever. This isn't me trying to say I'm an amazing player. What I am trying to get at is that it's one thing to prefer GG over BB, but entirely different to act like BB is some casualized abomination when players here still can't wrap their heads around BB's simplified system.
I do, but I lurk. :P I mean, I'm not an amazing GG player, but I can use FRC's pretty effectively and I knew how to do loops and the like (I probably couldn't did it now, I'd need practice), but I prefer the mechanics. After sinking years into Guilty Gear, Blazblue is a LOT simpler, and it shows. I feel like I have less room to experiment as a player because of the system.[QUOTE="thompson20"]
Hey users, how it going everyone?

GG > BB
SSF4 is a real good fighter but I lost interest in it, and play it for about 2 matches then turn it off. It's because of MK9 and MvC3 coming out, my interest is elsewhere and i'm stuck online watching gameplay vids of them.
How about Nintendo vs. Capcom?
Have you been playing any Nintendo and Capcom games? I heard that they haven't noticed that how the matches be, like Mega Man vs. Samus and Ryu vs. Mario. Well that's all of the variable information on Nintendo vs. Capcom.
@Users
Do you agree on BlazBlue should be as an anime?
The BlazBlue anime is rated TV 14 (D = Strong Inapropriate Dialogue, L = Language, V = Strong Violence)
The BlazBlue anime will be on Adult Swim. Characters: Everyone from Continuum Shift.

Well I would argue SSF4 is the most popular because it: A). Has pedigree and history. B). Is extremely well known C). It's not horrendously broken I really don't think it's the best available, I view it in a similar vain to COD in fact. To me it's boring and too focused on footsies. While I know it takes a huge amount of skill to play at the top level I personally find it boring as crap to watch and play. SF3 Third Strike is the best SF game and 4 should feel bad that it's not better than it.Theres a reason SSF4 is the most popular fighting game amongst casuals and hardcore players.Its the the best fighting game out atm.
Games like BlazBlue and Takken 6 can share 2nd place.
