I think people putting this game down are admitting that they only play games for graphics.

AdrianWerner

lol..the only reason why sheep are interested in Conduit is it;s graphics

Incorrect I'm afraid sir bleh. First person shooter fans are interested on the Conduit because of motion sensing controls on the Wii. It has potential you see.

potential to what? Blah...stop with the denial. Graphics are the only reason sheep follow this game

I suggest you pull yourself off the floor and dust yourself off. Wii motion sensing is an excellent platform for first person shooting. Stop with the denial, duel analogue is obsolete. It's only saving grace are original games like Call of Duty 4 and Bioshock, but Wii is catching up.

Right,,it's so obsolete that it's still light years ahead of Wii and Wii shows no signs of catching up at all

The game looks as detailed as NOLF2. That's not saying much. Besides just reading this made lose interest quickly:

"Leisure Suit Larry: Magnum Cum Laude studio readying Wii-exclusive shooter, due Q1 2009"

Red Steel was hyped and failed miserably for the Wii, and I'm expecting the same from this project too.

I think it looks promising... for the Wii. I think it will push what the FPS has been for the Wii, but I dont think it would stand out on the PS3/360.

looks AWFULL a wii title based on graphics?. anyway uncharted was a mdiocore new IP at best, the real promising new ips are things like bioshock, mass effect, stalker. in short GOOD games. the conduit looks like the next haze, but worse because its a wii third party title. with that little power how can it be anything more than a sub-par last gen shooter?

after playing MP3 and MOH:H2, there is no way im playing FPS on a console with dual analoge. Btw, sheep are excited about The Conduit mostly b/c of its graphics.

The ubisoft quality certainly shone through in the first game

And so what if it sold a million as a launch game, it was simply a terrible game. By that logic 50 Cent Bullet Proof was awesome too :|

"you fail" - I mean seriously just grow up.

The Conduit looks great for a Wii game all they need to do is get the controls down like MOH heroes and it can be an AA title

I'll tell you what you've got here:

a) You have a developer with a horrible track record, that really does not deserve the benefit of the doubt.

b) You have a bland looking, uninspired, poorly detailed, FPS for the Wii.

c) You have Wii fans excusing the above negatives on the premise that the Wii controls will somehow make up for everything else, as if Wii controls (which, in most Wii games I've played, don't add that much to the experience) automatically make the core content (which looks like it is going to be crap) into divine FPS excellence (or even just a good game, which is still far fetched).

And the logic is where, exactly?

*rubs forehead*

There is a really big problem here people.

Sure if they nail the controls, like MoH Heroes 2 did, does that mean its going to be a good game?
Take MoH Heroes 2 for example..... Yes its controls were good, but there was nothing about the game that made it better than any shooter out there. From a design perspective it was same old MoH, and in that regard average as average can be.

Which is why I dont think the Conduit will be good. Sure it can have good visuals (for the Wii) and good controls, but if its another corridoor crawler alien shooter, with unimpressive and uninspired design which it is looking like, why bother hyping it at all.

dunno about best IP but looks good for the wii. seriously for a wii game the graphics are quite good and we cant bash for gameply since we know very little about it; although the triler does seem to show that run and gun bits are broken up by puzzles involving the all seeing eye.

Leisure Suit Larry is a CLASSIC FRANCHISE along side the Kings Quest and Space Quest franchise. It's a much older equivalent to something like Redneck Rampage, where the main game that used the engine was Duke Nukem 3D but the other games still had diehard fans.

What in the hell are you talking about? Lesiure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude was in no way associated with Al Lowe; it was a completely seperate game that came nearly a decade after the last LSL adventure game... and it sucked.
