The difference between PC gaming and console gaming.

Epic's ue3 engine =/= Ubisoft's ue3 engine which is ue2.5xx upgraded in-house to ue3. and yes the engine is s***.

My buddy bought DMC 4 for ps3 the other day and had to wait for a 20 minute install. In addition to the 20 minutes it took to download + install a firmware update

My other buddy had his 360 for 4 weeks before it RROD'd and died on him

Why dont you blind haters keep beating that dead horse some more! I have had my first 360 since launch and it works fine. IF i have to send it off, ill get it fixed for free or get a new 360 and + a 1 year warrenty. Only sucky thing is waiting 2-3 weeks.

But lets act like those 3 weeks we do nothing but wait like a slave for its return. I dont know about you and those that mention this so much but i have many other game systems to play and it would be like taking a normal break for me since i enjoy most consoles.

Most games now a days check your systems setting before even playing it sets it what thinks will perform best on you hardware. So that just about makes this hold thread fail. Oh hey how bout you go play with some mods. Oh wait you cant. Too bad. While your playing a game once I can play it again with mods and have a completely different experience than the first time.

A PC gamer buys a game,loads it up and starts playing with the errr settings of the game:lol: .Then he forgets something,closes the game,runs fraps and then loads the game up again.Then he starts the game forgeting about the actual start of the game and just concentrates on the yellow letters showing the fps.Then he tries to tinker with the settings seeing as what affects what.Then he thinks that he has found the setings so he starts the game in seriousness only to realize after 30 min that the first level was not as demanding and he overestimated his PC so dang let's play with the settings again.Well now he thinks he has to tinker with the nvidia control panel to get the best performance.

I would rather have turned down setting with better performance than higher setting and crappy performance. So when we get Mass Effect we wont get Mass Slow Downs.

the ps3 is a computer, technically, and from a marketing standpoint, Sony wanted it to be, and even called it a supercomupter.

I'm playing Xcom:UFO Defense and Syndicate. I also booted up some Dark Forces 2, Tie Fighter 95, and Jedi Knights, to get in gear for the massive StarWars year, with the new show and movie, and Starwars Force Unleashed.

Then, he has to wait at least 1 week before getting it back, play another 1 hour and gets another RROD. It goes on, just slower until he's got really bored paying $5 a month for the Multiplayer of the game, then, instead of having the luxury of mods for adding even more value to the replayability of the game, has to buy a completely new game for another $60 and play it with monthly RRODs.

A PC gamer checks the system requirements for a game, buys it for $50, installs it, plays, tweaks settings, and plays without any likely failures assuming he wasn't idiotic or unfortunate enough to come across some viruses or other problems. Then, after getting bored, he goes to [insert random website here] and downloads mods and maps, rinces, repeats and gets years of playtime from $50.
