@GoldenElementXL: Now you're being a sore loser. C'mon.
How? In what world does "a steady 60fps" include frames in the low 50's? If this were a digital foundry video we would be slamming a console game for frame dips. But PC gamers can ignore this and claim "a steady 60fps"? Wow, OK!

53 is still smooth. Under 50 is where we usually tweak down settings. The ideal is 50-60 ...the drops to 53 55 is not sensible. BUT drops to 20 ? Well, you know how screwed up that can be.
And i'm sure if he turns off some stuff, it'll be 60fps solid. It's not a big deal.
And for god's sake , you're a PC Gamer yourself. 2X Titans ?! Damn!.
@GarGx1: Also there are settings like Shadow Quality, Post FX AA, and Object Detail (yours is set to 75% lol) that are not "max" in your video. What about that @mjorh?

Yes I am a PC gamer. I am also tired of people claiming they can max every game out at 60fps. And people are just supposed to accept those claims with no question. The problem is I have a better PC than all of these folks and can out bench them all. I know the performance they are getting and know when they are full of shit. Now "steady 60 fps" can mean anything in the low 50s? "Max settings" can include things turned down? Would we call a PS4 game that drops in the low 50s a "locked 60fps" performance? No it would be "LOL Consoles." But every scrub here with a 970 and a 2500K can run everything maxed at 1440p just fine. GTFO.
I love PC gaming but here at System Wars Hermits are getting out of hand.

The thing is we have different definition of "maxed out" , personally i don't give a damn to Nvidia Gayworks so if they're off i'd still say "maxed out". And i don't mind 50fps .. under 50 is where shit gets real and you gotta tweak down.
Majority of PS4 games are 30 dropping to 20 so ...
@GarGx1: Also there are settings like Shadow Quality, Post FX AA, and Object Detail (yours is set to 75% lol) that are not "max" in your video. What about that @mjorh?
:D i shall wait for further comments :P
Lol. I actually misspoke, his Post FX AA is at max. The other two are not however. I would also love to see a video of a fire fight so we can see the performance with some action going on. I know what we would see since I am playing the Beta at 1440p and max settings, I would just like to see how we would have to spin things then.

Well I guess that is where we disagree. Max is max imo. There is nothing wrong with saying that you are playing a game at double the frame rate than consoles and at much higher settings and resolution. That is still a win and a far superior experience than the ones the console folks have. You would say, "I am playing the game maxed out at 60fps" when you are actually playing with graphical settings turned down and at 50 fps? That seems misleading and dishonest. And for what? That's like telling women you have a 10 inch ding dong. At some point someone is going to find out the truth has been embellished a little bit. This thread happens to be one of those times for a few folks.

lmao :)))))))))))))))
It is not dishonest , i mean among PC gamers it's a common thing ... but overall, i agree with you. And i'm sure @GarGx1 meant this and wasn't being dishonest or sth , since i know him ...he's a solid user.
@GarGx1: Without firing a weapon or engaging an enemy we saw your frame rate drop to the low 50s. I don't know what "steady 60 fps" means to you but that's not it imo. I guess if you run around looking at the sky the whole game you can feel good about being in the 70s. Congrats?
2 videos later my point still stands. If a console game was dropping 20 frames we would be laughing at Cows/Lems. But since this is PC performance we are supposed to pretend it's not a big deal?
and my frame rate goes above 75 more than it dips below 55, you want to go work out the average. Your claim was that it runs at 40 - 50, I've clearly proven that assertion incorrect.
Face it you're wrong, now go cry into your cornflakes some more.
So these are both your screenshots. The second one is from your video showing that you turned down Object Detail and you still dropped into the low 50's . Whoops!! And your not even at 60fps in the settings screen ffs.

So now the "steady 60fps" claim is out the window and we are talking "average fps'? Got it. And I lost? Lets see a video with some action in it instead of you looking at the sky and at the back of trucks. Your "average" will drop. And be sure to include the settings in the video so we can see if you turned anything else down.

Temporal AA is set at Supersampling, that's as high as it gets.
Shadow Quality is at high, that's as high as it gets
Object detail set to 100% would make as much difference as DoF, none what so ever.
You're clutching at straws and you know it. bu.. bu what about a fire fight, do you honestly think I'm going to lose over 20frames per second in a fire fight?
I don't play it maxed out I do cut it back because I like to keep my FPS well over 60.

Game over.......
Do you see how these go together? I obviously set everything back to max for the earlier screen shots or are you too thick to work that out and didn't set it for the video.
The clothing gives you good idea that there is some time in between the two

@Juub1990: Just say you're hitting a steady 60fps like everybody else. Apparently numbers are open for interpretation. Frame rates as low as the 40s still count as locked 60fps at System Wars. Also turning details down still counts as Max settings.
Cows, Sheep and Lems have been doing it wrong. It turns out we can just make up system performance and redefine what locked, steady and Max means. The only thing left is to redefine what resolution means and we've covered all the bases.
Nobody is running this maxed out at any res over 1080p at 60 fps. I don't know why anybody is still arguing.
There are really only a couple of people here claiming they are. Oddly enough, they posted videos proving themselves wrong.
Yeah I'm running two 980 ti classifieds in SLI and I don't think I could put a dent in this without SLI being enabled. Haven't even tried because I don't have a lot of interest in this game currently.

Sli doesn't really work right now so the Beta isn't a good indication of it's performance. I fully expect performance to improve when the game launches. I have no doubt people will be able to hit higher frames than they are now. My only beef is with those people saying they are running the Beta maxed at 60fps. This is literally the only place on the internet where people are making those claims. It's quite asinine.

Curiousity, why did you go titan black over 980 ti?
@GarGx1: Didn't you say you weren't running maxed out settings in this thread?
In the video and screenshots it is maxed out, with the exception of object detail in the video as I forgot to move it to 100%. I normally scale it back to keep (to quote myself) frames rates wll above 60fps. If you need that translated, it means I'm playing it at over 70fps, with some marginal drops in the high 60's.
Look you can either believe what I've shown or you don't, quite frankly I don't care. As I said earlier I know what I'm playing it at.
What I don't like is someone calling me a liar when it's plainly obvious that I'm not.

So object detail wasn't maxed out, so it wasn't maxed out. Got it.
I think it looks pretty good on PS4. The visuals are the least of my concerns. But I not really a PC gamer any more so my standards are lower than hermits.
What I don't like is someone calling me a liar when it's plainly obvious that I'm not.
But you lied. You said you are getting a steady 60fps with everything maxed.
And then the story changed to this...
Just come out and say you were full of it on the first page of this thread so we can all move on.
My story has not changed from anything there's a difference between what I can run it at and what I run it at, just because my car can do 140mph doesn't mean I drive everywhere at 140mph. I've shown a video of me getting a steady high frame rate that's over 60fps, why not admit you're wrong?
Now you prove that my videos and screenshots are bogus or you're nothing more than a sore loser.

I never claimed I was, stop putting words in my mouth, I said once drivers hit, Crossfire is supported and the game is further optimized that I no doubt will be, especially if it scales like every other Ubisoft game which is from 1.9x to 2x...
With one card, no game drivers, and further optimizations to be done I'm averaging about 35 FPS at 1440p MAXED, it's in beta... It's not a complicated math equation to figure out what the results will be once the former things are applied...

I say there is no fairytale hardware out there hitting a steady 60 fps at 1440p maxed. You say you are going to "destroy" me. That doesn't seem like I'm putting words in your mouth. And your video literally shows what I said above.

1 - On the first page you claim you are getting a steady 60fps with everything maxed at 1440p.
2 - You show screen shots of everything maxed
3 - You post a video with the settings lower than your screen shots
4 - Your video is not "steady 60fps"
5 - You admit "cutting back" settings to keep your frame rate over 60fps
If that isn't changing your story I don't know what is. @mjorh claims to know you. Maybe he can figure out your point. Your video shows a steady frame rate? You obviously have no idea what the word "steady means.
A 20+fps variation is not steady. Dips in the low 50's with nothing happening on screen isnt "steady high frame rate over 60fps" like you claimed above.

I love PC gaming but here at System Wars Hermits are getting out of hand.
Thank you, sir, for pointing out that hypocrisy and providing some excellent entertainment in this thread. It's really sad and embarrassing to see how some people squirm and twist instead of just saying "Yeah, I'm not really getting 60 FPS and it's not maxed out either."
lol @ all the retards getting their absurd fps claims smacked down. lol @GarGx1 has settings hella dropped below max, is in 1 of the most undemanding parts of the map and still cant keep 60 fps.

The problem is I'm not a blind PC fanboy so I don't add to the delusion. For 1/3 of GarGx's video the frame counter is sub 60 fps and all we see is the in the video is the settings screen, the sky a bunch and some car close ups. 30 seconds of his 1:33 video is sub 60 and I'm supposed to sit here and accept that he wants to call that a steady 60fps. He uses the word "steady" to describe frame rates from 52fps to 88fps. A drop of 4-6 frames occurs every time he fires the weapon in the video and we are supposed to call that steady. Object detail was set to 75% and the word "maxed" is being used to describe it. Sorry but no thanks. I'm not going to accept that and let it go.
