impressive, verry nice graphics but i'll be surprised if pc gaming still be popular/still around in say.....5-6 more years
consoles are being focused on more and more everyday
1. That music was far too dramatic for the material they were showing.
2. Are they going to be coming out with a Find The Titanic video game, or something?
So basically, PC gaming is dying?impressive, verry nice graphics but i'll be surprised if pc gaming still be popular/still around in say.....5-6 more years

everything other game type-definately, no doubt
Would that be a bad thing?1. That music was far too dramatic for the material they were showing.
2. Are they going to be coming out with a Find The Titanic video game, or something?

I am pretty confused at your statements. Are you saying that outside simulations, rpgs, and strategy, that the other genres will be dead in 5-6 years on pc?

The graphics on there does look amazing but needs significant amount of improvement for consistency.[QUOTE="killa4lyfe"][QUOTE="successful19"]should be

PC graphics have become vastly better then their console counterparts, just look at Just Cause 2 and Metro....and personally, I dont like being nickel and dimed for every single game out there on a regular basis....mods are nice, not to mention free DLC from many developers. And I like the PC exclusives far better.

Maybe because we're too old for video games that focus on half-naked dudes with swordchucks, buxom anime babes, and redneck fast cars. I seriously think many console gamers heads would asplode if they had to focus on something as complex as paying attention to the ethnicities of citizens in your cities (Total War, Civilization) or figure out their True Air Speed by using the tachometer and altimeter (IL2: Sturmovik).
PC gaming is bigger than just 'mainsteam games'. Grognards like myself have no real options on the consoles because those types of games just simply aren't on the consoles.
graphics don't make the game but thats pretty cool . We wont see games look like this for a long time .
...by Crysis 2 which uses DX11. Maybe, but some say due to consoles holding it back, some say it'll look worse, I hope they are wrong too.You must remember that the PC is the lead platform and C2 is designed around current gen hardware. Consoles aren't holding it back.[QUOTE="windsquid9000"][QUOTE="mitu123"]
If PC games look like that then Crysis is dethroned!

I'd like to point out that console gaming ISN'T "too advanced" especially since console gaming is what's holding back every gamer from experiencing any graphical improvement. sad but true.

It's because of consoles' weak hardware that multiplats have such low system requirements. A low/mid end computer should be able to max out almost all of them.
Yeah this one is also amazing :DI'm still impressed with this one....

But you have to dream :oops:No game has come close to matching 3D Mark Vantage so i seriously doubt were going to see games of that quality for some time.
The space scene from 3D Mark Vantage is mind blowing, 10,000 objects on screen at once.

Where is the bubbles? Are they underwater, or are they floating around in space with sounds from the ocean randomly dropped in. Fail.Easyle

Doesn't matter. They go out of the way to make it look highly realistic with good lighting and everything, and they can't add bubbles or anything to indicate they are underwater. I mean seriously, how could they overlook this?

Why should there be bubbles? Propellers don't always produce bubbles and i don't see anyone breathing or anyleaking oxygen or other gas. Bubbles have to have a reason for being there, if theres nothing to produce them putting them in for no reason isin't going to be realistic.

When you move through the water, some sort of stream or bubbles are created. Not having that isn't very realistic at all... its a tech demo true, but that still seems like a glaring error to me.When you move through the water, some sort of stream or bubbles are created. Yes maybe there should be abit of displacement behind the propeller a "warping" effect of the water, but not bubbles, bubbles in water come from gases and a spinning propeller isin't producing gas. Its also clearly very deep water and there moving very slowly, your not going to get massive amounts of water displacement at that pressure level, at least not that you can see. If it had water shooting out the back with bubbles like a jet ski or something it would just look wrong.
For all you know there is a slight warping effect behind the propeller, you just can't see it because of the poor quality video.
There is more reason to believe consoles will converge into PCs. There is no reason for consoles. There is only reason for a standard. This is where the real future is.impressive, verry nice graphics but i'll be surprised if pc gaming still be popular/still around in say.....5-6 more years

When you move through the water, some sort of stream or bubbles are created. umm.... since when? there are only bubbles where there is some sort of gas.. movement doesn't create gas. I've been underwater quite a few times, and i don't recall ever seeing any random bubblesPlease Log In to post.
