A Blizzard cutscene has more gameplay than Hellblade2

Cutscene blade 2 looked pretty cinematic. Looks like MS broke out the whip and ordered the ninja team to copy Sony’s formula of success.

@texasgoldrush: The Last of Us Part II also won WAY more GOTY awards than Hades, it holds the record for highest amount of GOTY wins in a year and record breaking GOTY awards (the actual award + subcategories like best action game or whatever)

So yeah, TLOU2 the overall winner of 2020 by sheer volume and as well the 'official' award by TGA.

I agree on animatix I thought it was great. They expanded the lore pretty nicely like how they explained the supernatural part within the matrix. I also enjoyed the athlete story and the noir themed part a lot.

HB2 was the biggest disappointment of the show.

You can use your left stick to walk in a line and A to throw the spear. What's the problem with that?

My favorite part was that Dorito boi had to keep reiterating it's gameplay like it was impressive. Easily the worst showing of TGA.

No Ninja Theory does, because they didn't show a game, they showed a movie with occasional button prompts. If that was a Sony game you'd be shitting on it, ya hypocrite.

glad that Takes Two won. its my number two game of the year behind Valheim which is early access and wouldn't be eligible for awards this year

It's a movie, comes out in 2024.

I am just glad RE8 hasn't won anything. Capcom doesn't deserve anything for that pathetic video game.

@fedor: I had to Google it up after seeing the salty posts about it, and even hardwarenzen making a whole salty thread about it. Looks like the og was a multiplat, then MS went out and bought the studio, making the sequel an xbox/ pc exclusive. So sad hahaha

@SolidGame_basic: Horrible event. Actual awards sidelined for trailers, most of which were teasers or CGI that told us nothing about the games. So. Many. Commercials.

It was terrible 1/10.

Just wait until the show is over, check the trailers you're interested in and move on. Who would watch that garbage more than once? It's absolutely shallow and disrespectful to the smaller awards. It's the opposite of fun.

She won because the games media are idiots.

Hades has won more industry awards, won with game developers, and has a higher acclaim rate by gamers than TLOU Part II.

And GDC and BAFTAs should be looked at as more prestigious than the Doritios Awards. The BAFTAs actually require the jury to play every game before voting on a category.
