The hardest boss in Dark Souls (not including cheap, gimmicky ones) on normal

That just illustrates the problem with enemies in this game: they aren't very smart. :P

It's between The Four Kings and Ornstein and Smough. I will go with The Four Kings because you can't kite them or beat them with thief build like you can with O&S. They are also the coolest looking and have some of the best design.

Ornstein and Smough on your first playthrough and they were also the best fight in the game, so epic, challenging and a lot of fun.

Four Kings on NG+

Also the Stray Demon, maybe is not the hardest fight once you have learned the game, but i remember facing him very early and it was a really though fight.
