He's talking about racing simulators and not consoles, that doesn't make him a fanboy -.- Seriously do you honestly think a professional reviewer who has access to ALL consoles and pretty much every game is biased in a way? When you own all consoles you don't see exclusives being released to "destroy" the competition, you're just happy to find more good games to play. And in his oppinion Forza 3 set the bar in the racing simulator genre pretty high. Read the whole review, it sounds like a fantastic game.

If you really think graphics are that important, buy a highend gaming PC. But those graphic glitches are no big deal at all i'm sure, "textures not loading" i think he meant not loading instantly, so you see details pop in later or something like that. Even Uncharted 2 has that.

He said it's the best racing game so far this generation. We, as informed gamers, know that GT5 is the competition to Forza 3, right? As a professional reviewer I'd think he'd know as well. So of course Polyphony has to beat it. He's not saying they won't, just saying it'll be hard to top such a great game.

I was just thinking that now FM3 is about to be released, PD may analyse it inch by inch to possibly try and match or better everything in there.

Maybe they weren't far off releasing it, but then decided to hold back when they saw what FM3 had to offer.

Because, could you imagine if that was true and PD spent all that time developing a game which ended up being inferior or just matching the latest offering from Turn 10.

I personally think it would be kinda tragic if after all this time in development better graphics is the only advantage to GT5.

I think PD know they better have something far more advanced to show for the development time spent.

I'd imagine someone from Sony wanting answers if they don't better it, asking how another developer matched them in less than half the development time.

On topic, I think he meant good luck in that he was blown anyway by the content, the features, the gameplay and the way it was put together and it would be a tough one to beat.

Anyway, it could be worse, he could have said "And a million tears are shed by PS3 fanboys".

Like ign said its one of the best racing games ever made.

I agree in that its an unprofessional thing to say, the good luck part comes of as really low-class. The game itself seems awesome, I just saw the QL on GB and I would get this if I had a 360. 9.4 sounds like the right score from what I've seen.

But the last part is what keeps us from taking games "journalism" seriously.

The people who truly care about how somebody enjoyed a game thats not on their system are also fanboys.
