I'm not sure what the problem is? The review seems spot on with most other reviews of F3. The words may be harsh and incite this petty fued even further, but they are true.

He didn't say GT5 was going to be a worse game, he didn't say Forza 3 was and will always be the greatest racer of all time; all he said was Forza 3 is a great game, and it will be hard for its main competitor to top it. Something writers do all the time when writing similar articles.

Second, your comparison isn't apt. This is the equivalent of a radio DJ talking about how great Band X's record is, and how it'll be tough for the similar Band Y to top it. Again, something that happens all the time.

Finally, you seem to be under the impression that Hillary Goldstein (or any reviewer, for that matter) actually gives a rat's ass about "teh system warz". He doesn't.

There are plenty of relevant and significant complaints about gaming journalism. This isn't one of them.

Deep and engrossing career mode? I doubt it.. unless they changed a lot from Forza 2.

Btw. My radio station was Forza3's review. The caller (reviewer) mentions another radio station (GT5) on Forza3 review or station. Unheard of. In real life though they allways say best radio station in area. But never another radio name. I know what you thought I meant. Which doesn't work, true.

bottom line is cows should be upset since the 360 has gotten two AAAE racing sims and it is the definitive racer of this gen. GT5 has been talked about more, but in the time span it produced a garbage GT5 Prologue 7,5 and who knows what will happen in 6 months. I dont think it will top Forza 3 either, Turn10 has worked harder, and has been more proactive than PG. Sorry if the truth hurts, the DC in this thread shows just that!!!

lol good luck topping that one GT5 has a ton of pressure on it, by the time GT5 comes out and gets AA status, the real racer sim fans will be wondering about Forza 4..... Wow gotta be impressed with Turn10....

You're interpreting it wrong. Putting fanboyism where there is none to start a flamewar isn't such a great idea.

He said it's the best racing game so far this generation. We, as informed gamers, know that GT5 is the competition to Forza 3, right? As a professional reviewer I'd think he'd know as well. So of course Polyphony has to beat it. He's not saying they won't, just saying it'll be hard to top such a great game.
