I bought The Last of Us and The Last of Us Remastered. I don't need The Last of Us super dooper remastered.

The last of us 2 is in my backlog might need to get to it before the remake. I'm not against the remake with the show coming out.

Because they want to hype people up for the TV show and sell some more games at the same time. I think it should have just been a PC port.

I always prefer the first game over the sequel but anyway, I enjoy playing it back on PS3, PS4 and now I'll buy it yet again on PC and the fact this is a remake technically tells me this is the only way to port it for the PC version so I'm okay with that.

Remakes & Remasters are 2 different things when it comes to development. TLOU on PS3 was built around the Cells and while remastered to PS4 version had issues cause there were lots of framerate drops. The only way to skirt around those problems is to start all over again hence it's a remake building from the ground up...at least how I see it🤷‍♂️

Blame the gamers for something like multiple versions of The Last of Us existing, just like any other bad precedence in gaming. We all allow this to happen.

I did not buy this game originally on the ps3, because just judging by the cover, I thought it was a bit too family friendly / disney for my tastes A picture of the young girl, with her dad in the background. Well, I finally played it on ps5 in 2020, and I regretted being so dumb and judging a book by its cover. I thought I was wrong. Fast forward a few months, I decide to buy tlou2 on sale, and the game really slapped me in the face with how crazy progressive it was. All I can say is screw you Neil DRUGSMAN. He must have been on drugs while making tlou2. Ruining a classic like tlou1 with that sequel.

Also I mentioned this to hardwenzen earlier, this game would be the dumbest tv show ever. Season 1 would be amazing, but season 2 would literally tank.

Man all these Sony bangers coming to PC on top of having all XB games.

Well I try to be fair and soft limit PC to the current console gen years (save for cross-gen stuff that XB/PS also get).

Either way PC ends up winning. But this time it seems to take the cake for AAA productions as well, as XB/PS are just tossing everything to PC but not sharing with each other.

Just get Gamepass for PC and you'll get all these bangers and junk too. Best of both worlds!

Ugh, now you have to pretend The Last of Us, Part II exists when you're playing The Last of Us. You have to accept that the young girl will become a total psychopath with a ridiculously obsessive revenge drive that would make the Bride laugh. Should have dropped the "Part I."

Even the first game was average, though. Never cared for Joel and Ellie's relationship.

I think this is an unnecessary remake as the original still holds up well with the PS4 remaster. However....

I hope the MP gets remade as well and bundled, or they release Factions II at some point this year

Got a years worth of PS Now and I'll be getting Returnal and Stray soon, feels great :)

Playing it at 4k 60 is enough for me it was my favourite game in the last 2 generations.

In Gen 7, the PC had more high scoring games than the Wii, PS3 and 360 combined.

In Gen 8 the PC did just as well. But gaming moved more and more towards multiplats. But there was still a sizeable lead.

In Gen 9, the PC has pretty much everything but Nintendo games... I want Nintendo games on PC. The Switch is nice and all, but man I would love Nintendo game modding being far more accessible. Several noteworthy devs began their careers modding Nintendo games.

For all the flack we give Nintendo for re-releasing so many WiiU games on the Switch to pad out its library... atleast hardly anybody owned a WiiU.

I get it at the same time- seems like it's really all about the PC. Might as well release the supped up version on the PS5.
