The Last of Us voted greatest game of all time

Wannabe cinephile. I remember back in the day when I used to moderate the film unions here, all the real cinephiles made fun of guys like him.

Won't be surprised if Lord of the Rings and The Matrix is peak cinema for him as well. Lol

None of these are bad movies by any means, but say "I don't explore cinema" without saying "I don't explore cinema" any louder.

Expand your horizons and explore beyond what has been spoon fed to you growing up.

I've watched 5-6 black and white movies. Some of them in Japanese.

And why do I think Persona 5 is weebo trash? the game has a 95 score on MC, which is actually higher than TLOU2's 94 on MC. Aren't I suppose to love that anime trash?

I argued with someone here the other day that Divinity Original Sin II was one of the most boring games I have ever played (there were some aspects I thoroughly enjoyed / was impressed by) but after like 8 hours I decided to delete that rubbish. Didn't this game get a 10/10?

What about Disco Elysium, that god awful game that you nerds thinkhas a good story? (it doesn't, it has a terrible story that is no where near as good as The Last of Us or any Metal Gear).

Its the worst game I have ever played in my life. But didn't both IGN and GS give it 10s?

I used to respect them... Then they gave Super Man Returns fucking 5 out of 5... Could you imagine.

I haven't given them a second look since. You can not pretend to be some film buff magazine with any credibility and give Super Man Returns 5 out of 5.

Now TLOU is the best "video game" of all time according to them. I mean, there's no redemption for these people.

Nothing screams desperation more than throwing High School Intro to Cinema class titles more than those ones. Might as well throw Singin' in the Rain and Cabinet of Dr. Caligari in there too to further impress me. I'd be far more impressed if you actually explain why Citizen Kane is important to film and not just the normie "I watched old movie once. Overrated boring."

You're just further landing the point that others have told you that you can't make up your own mind and form your own opinion. You're just clamoring to whatever the pack tells you is "groundbreaking" without forming that judgement for yourself.

First you started with The Last of Us because a survey told you. Then you chose a popular movie from the 90's and a popular comic book movie; then you resort to generic choices for classic cinema because they're high up there on the AFI Top 100 list as a desperate measure, because you feel challenged. Talk about boring and predictable.

But hey, explain Citizen Kane and why its impact to Cinema is still felt to this day, since you clearly like that one. I'll be impressed.

There Will Be Blood is just Citizen Kane but not boring.

The last of us has a decent Story at best.

The gameplay is pretty dull, plenty of forced walking. Moving pallets etc.

Nevermind terrible immersion breaking ai from Ellie.

What the actual f? Last of Us was a great game, but far from the best ever. It probably wouldn't even make my personal top 50 list.

Nope. Last of Us is extremely linear and has mediocre at best gameplay even for its time. The story is also pretty generic too. Its not even the best game of its year. I would put GTA5 above it

TLOU is the greatest game ever made next to Zombie ate my Neighbors . I have had Atari Amiga PC Sega Nintendo PS1 still the best 2 games I ever played and yes Nintendo games are not that great

What The Last of Us did to videogames is what TGB&U did to westerns.

@HalcyonScarlet: Yeah very special and bias. They are denying Sony a deserved 10/10 game by not reviewing this 10/10 masterpiece on the PC.

Any one else who releases a broken game, gets called out on it with poor review scores and they didn't even review the PC version.
