The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword details.

- localization going to be underway soon
- worked hard to increase the variety and richness of the gameplay over the last year
- story is centered on the creation of the Master Sword
- Link sort-of forges it along the way
- Link and Zelda are great childhood friends in Skyloft
- Link must hunt down Zelda to save her from the land below Skyloft, which one one has visited before
- Zelda is in no way a princess in the traditional sense
- Zelda is both sweet but has another strong side to her
- Link will use Zelda's harp to find something important
- playing the harp involves strums and the MotionPlus, and is based on the rhythm of strumming
- quite a few fully orchestrated songs, but not all
- the design choice with Lord Ghirahim was to make a villain opposite the styile of Ganon
- there most likely is not a relationship between Ghirahim and Vaati
- Skyward Sword comes before Ocarina of Time
- the Triforce sort of takes on a different meaning and plays a different role in the stor
- Ganon will not appear in the game
- the guys at the bird race are part of a knight academy that Link is a part of
- these knights oversee the school, and [the people are] also his ****mates
- there's also a vast world above the clouds as well–little islands floating in the sky all over the place
- these places feature events and scenarios that play out
- the bird is used for travel and racing

I've been lifting weights with my sword arm for weeks in preparation for this game.

Sounds good. Didn't know about the harp before now. Though, I'm glad they're telling the story of the Master Sword's creation and finding a way to work the Triforce in there too.

Sounds pretty good. I didn't really like this game when I saw it at E3 last year but the more I see, the more I grow to like it.

Also, am I immature for laughing at "his ****mates", Gamespot's censor is so broken :lol:

It's as if they've honestly addressed every single issue with past Zelda games. The combat, exploration, boring parts between dungeons, annoying chests with only rupees, item upgrades, orchestrated music, interesting art style, new villain, etc.

I just hope the harp playing is fun and gives more intricate songs. I hated the baton in Waker.

The more I see of this game the more I become interested in it.There's a high chance it can get above 8.5 on GS.

Same here. I only wish it was delayed for Wii-U so it could've received a visual update and be in 1080p. Won't be a problem for some though :P

I love how they're going for a celtic-theme for the music this time. Celtic music is the music of the gods, right next to heavy metal, so it's really awesome them went out for orchestrated tracks, apparently not all of them though but that doesn't bother me because they're top-notch in quality already. Orchestrated is always better though.

They really should reward exploration a lot more. Add in plenty of side-quests and optional things to do. Just like Majora's Mask with collecting all of the masks. Not needed, but it's really rewarding if you do. I hope they never add VA to zelda though. It just doesn't fit. They could give major characters VA, like bosses and maybe Zelda herself, but Link should never get a VA.

I thought it was gonna be fully orchestrated :( Some is better than none though. They probably couldn't get them done in time or something.

Comes out in November though, or it should. Nintendo said holiday season so anytime between October and December.

I seriously hope this game comes outaround Oct 31stor in the first week or two of november.

Hell naw, it was originally a miniseries (I don't think it was ever supposed to be mini-episodes) but they expanded it from twelve to twenty-six episodes. I cannot wait. :D

Not too much to play outside of MH:Tri and Galazy 2. I've never sold a console though, and I'd drop my 360 before my Wii. :P Besides, with Skyward Sword comin' there's no way I'd sell it.

But what if some of the areas have a technological feel to them? Can't exactly orchestrate songs to go along with those area's :P

I'm preparing myself to cringe at the reviews. Especially the ones that claim it has horrible motion control but then we figure out they were just waggling the whole time. It happens far to often with many Wii games, it's kind of sad.Haziqonfire
