Also it would still be nice if Ganondorf made an appearance, maybe even as a friendly. Bowser is usually not the main villian in the Mario and luigi super star games(ironicly he is the main charachter in inside story), and in the last two paper mario games he was not the main villian but he still made appearances.

I'm tired of people using that same excuse to downplay the series in comparison to today's games. Gaming would be much, much worse if everything "got with the times." It's best to have your own unique identity. Why do people want games to be all the same or look the same?

How does one take the story, characters and events seriously when all of the NPC's don't even emit speech?

Sure this was accecptable back in the N64 days, but this is 2011. Nintendo are just being lazy.

Seriously, that's as dumb as someone saying GTA shouldn't add mid mission checkpoints. In this day and age, a game like GTA not including mid mission checkpoints for the longer missions isn't just dated. It's freaking ancient! If GTA V is confirmed to still not have mid mission checkpoints you're damn right I'll complain. I'm sure the fanboys that are scared of change will have a similar response to you and say GTA is fine the way it is in this area. Well it's not. It's called progress. Nintendo need to stop being so stubborn and do the same thing. Not including voice acting for a game with so much story is very dated. The presentation is just stuck in the past. And that was one of the criticisms of Twilight Princess. For everything it did right, parts of its presentation were stuck in the past.

Oh and by the way, here's another reason the whole play something else statement is pretty damn lol worthy. I said myself it wasn't a game breaker and it's going to be a great game.

Sorry, but making everything modern is not better and that's terrible logic to think so. Go play another game. We don't need terrible VA to ruin this great series.

Most games on iPhone are not voice acted.. i see no reason for games on the ancient technology of the wii to be voice acted either. Looking forward to this game, they can explain the master swords creaton... but how can they have the triforce when its wisdome (zelda) power (gannon) and courage (link) ... when they are missing gannon?

Since this is now an avatar thread, I'll contribute. Avatar was pretty much the last show on nick or cartoon network that was good and that I saw every episode of. I'm even thinking of getting the box sets to rewatch them. My favorite characters where probably toph and azula.YoshiYogurt

Toph is awesome. Sooo funny. Avatar is one of the last great shows (animated anyway) that I have watched.

Playing to your oponents weaknesses is what makes a great fighter. Azula in top form>Zuko in top form but by the end of the series the difference wasn't much.
